Plain and simple we may have some scorers but we have very little shooters. At this point it’s painful to watch. Can’t imagine we don’t make some moves before he deadline.

There aren't any "small" moves that will help this team in any significant way.

Just punt this season. Re-evaluate in the offseason.

Casual armchair analysts on reddit could even tell you this would be a big problem after Maginka made their strange offseason signings. It's a front office failure in team construction, there's no doubt.

Everyone knew our signing made no sense the moment it was known. Jonah Hill was asking what the hell we was doing after signing LeBron. Even casual fans knew that these signings made no sense.

Agree we all knew it was going to be a problem, but I expected more out of kuz, Ingram, Wagner, kcp, and even svi.

Wagner can shoot 3s better than Kuzma. I'd like to see him get more playing time.

Only those two could have reasonably been expected to produce better, IMO. Counting on rookies and Ingram to step up in that area was asinine.

It’s tough when they not only need to be a shooter but they also have to have an ending contract

Why did I think this thread was going to be a reference to that famous John McKay quote?

I expected the rookies to be just a spot up three player for LbJ to kick it to and I don’t think anyone thought Ingram would just stop taking threes altogether. Anyway all this leads to poor spaciing. We have too many players good at the same thing.

Yup, i feel that Walton is under utilizing him, much like he under utilized Thomas Bryant, who seemed to be in his dog house. That was some bs, he could of flourished with us. Walton is making the same mistake with Wagner.

We wouldn’t need shooters if this was addressed when Magic should’ve known this when he signed LBJ, not Lance & Beasley...

Please for the love of god, can we just go after DeWayne Dedmon already. Rebounding, defense, 3treys a game and has winning experience from SAS.

I'd love to sign him for free next summer.

Cool, she's good at developing Left Tackles for our Offensive Line.

you can have shooters, but the coaching and system can mitigate that

theres not a lot of good spacing and ball movement and screens in this offense.

the shooters struggle

Hart and KCP shot better last year

Notice the thread title was shooters plural...

Bullock was a good acquisition but at the price of our other shooter...

Sure he's more NBA ready... but why the f*ck couldn't we trade any other player instead of Svi for him?

So lateral move for now... and possibly a poor move if we don't sign him for cheap.
