I think the majority of Laker fans would make the trade obviously if there were no other consequences like a video game but doing something like this would give the Lakers an even worse image then how people are currently looking at the Celtics. It is an extremely shady move that will have many negative effects for the future. Just an extremely horrible way to handle an all time great that signed a long contract with you. I would do it in a video game for sure but in real life it's not even something you remotely talk about in the open imo.

If the “image” results in a champion - and potential dynasty with Lonzo & AD as the centerpieces, flanked by a fully realized Ingram and Kuzma in his prime - I’ll take my chances.

Especially when LeBron takes nights off like tonight when we really could have used 15-18 points.

lol. Im all for this, but it kind of defeats the purpose of the superteam. But I would totally trade LBJ for AD straight up if we're just talking basketball reasons. Lebron is not a very good player, but he has power, and that power will get stars here and calls from refs. that is his real value. He's not going to put a bad team on his back and use his skill to dominate teams.

Well we haven't picked up a top free agent outside of Lebron in a long, long time. So I don't think this trade would have any negative effect on that.
