Mark Jackson gifted Steve Kerr with the Warriors

Yeah after losing in the first round to the Clippers, he was ready to lead them to 4 straight finals and the best regular season record ever.

They were a completely average team offensively his two seasons with them. They weren't just about to become one of the greatest offenses of all time.

Jason Kidd is no communicator or strategist. His hire as an NBA HC is an inadvertent fail wherever he may go.

Didn't Budenholzer prove like within a month of implementing basic 21st century floor spacing and ball movement that Kidd is an out-of-touch dinosaur that should never coach any team?

Yes, he did. Kidd and Jackson are the worst choices to replace Luke.

So yeah, I hope this does not happen. Look how much better the Bucks got after they got rid of Kidd.

Luke has done a good job with this team. They play D. The injuries and now the trade rumors have thrown the train off of the rails. Assuming some good health going forward and the passing of the trade deadline things should turn around post ASB.

The team's inability to close out games all season is a direct reflection on the coach. If we have a lead just give it some time...

Luke's days have been numbered because the team can't close out games imo.

A ball boy did an AMA on Reddit and dropped this nice little tidbit about our future head coach:

Jason Kidd was an (bleep) and had me deliver “beer coolers” to his locker room after games against the bucks. I would put a twelve pack in there and (bleep) was always gone after an hour. Not sure if any of his assistants had any, but Kidd was an alcoholic.

Great reading on here. Lots of great tidbits.

Hmm, this kinda explains some things for me. I've always thought that he kinda mumbles, slurs. Talks in a very low key tone. I never connected alcohol with this though. Alcohol can make people either angry or mellow, if this is true, he's the mellow type.

Joumana might disagree with calling him the mellow type.

The only reason the Lakers would sign Jason Kidd is because it's another "name" to attach. With no intent on actually winning, just throwing a bunch of names at a dart board and hope your fanbase shuts up long enough and hoping something magical happens.

This is not the way to run a franchise. But that's what happens when you bring in people that have no idea how outside of "we're gonna get a max every year cause we're the Lakers."

There is no use in move from horrible to terrible.

Any coach who stages a drink spill by bumping into one of his players to create a game stoppage is a GENIUS strategist!
