It would be great to humiliate them on national tv.

I actually think we would have won the last one, had our fans not booed Paul George.

Obviously things look bleak as we lost to them with Westbrook playing like garbage... but hope springs eternal...

Ingram led us to a win against OKC last year.
But we were at home. And Melo sucking helped us out as well.

Preview: Lakers (24-21) at Thunder (26-17)

Lakers +10/+10.5 o/u 226

The Thunder have struggled over the past three weeks, going 5-7 since Dec. 23. That stretch includes two losses to the Timberwolves and one each to the Mavericks, Wizards and Hawks -- all teams currently on the outside of the playoff race.

A big reason for Oklahoma City's struggles has been its defensive regression.

The Thunder allowed 142 points in Tuesday's loss at Atlanta.

"We were a bit flat," Oklahoma City's Paul George said after the loss.

"These are the games that we've got to be ready for -- the ones where we're supposed to come in and roll them over. Those are the teams that we've got to come out and match the energy they give us."

Oklahoma City will be without backup center Nerlens Noel for the fourth consecutive game after Noel suffered a concussion after a collision under the basket Jan. 8 against Minnesota.

The Thunder also figure to be without Alex Abrines, who hasn't played since Dec. 23. Abrines was out first with an illness and then due to personal reasons, though has spent time with the team in practices and shoot-arounds over the past two weeks.

Today's Officials January 17, 2019

Tom Washington (#49) Courtney Kirkland (#61) Haywoode Workman (#66)
REPLAY CENTER: Brian Forte, Natalie Sago

UPDATE:
Royce Young
ESPN Staff Writer

Nerlens Noel has passed all concussion tests and is available tonight against the Lakers.

Over/under on PG and Westbrick scowling to the crowd after scoring as if we're the warriors or something.

Why do I feel like it's either going to be OKC giving the Lakers a beat down OR the Lakers squeaking out a close one where OKC is the team that misses free throws down the stretch.

Kuz is due for a great game. He's been underwhelming since scoring 41.

I think OKC will underestimate our team and I can see our chance there. We need all three ( Kuz, Zo, BI) to have great game finally.

I say we need to at least win one of OKC, Houston, GSW to keep our hopes alive for a good seed in the playoffs

PG going to torch us again, easy to predict a loss in this one.
I don't see us beating Houston or GSW either, hopefully Bron is back for the game agaisnt the Wolves.

The Hawks just beat the Thunder so anything is possible.

This has all the makings of a game where we fall back real big real quick and proceed to be blown out. We have the worst offense in the league since Bron went down. And now we get to play the 2nd best defensive team in the league for the season.

Prove me wrong, youngins!

Just be competitive going into the 4th quarter, and I’m satisfied, even if we lose.

Lakers are the 2nd best defensive team since Lebron got injured.
