LOL at those saying they wouldn't trade more than one of those guys for AD. NO will demand three of our four young guys (Josh Hart). If it came down to trading two, nobody in the Lakers front office would hesitate to agree to that. Don't get too attached.

Kawhi is better than AD, though. Why not just trade them for Kawhi last summer if the outlines of the rumored deal were legit?

I just don’t agree with the age argument. BI has 1 more year NBA experience so he really should be more efficient. At 21 years old you should already have most of you man muscles. I was skinny like BI but I really didn’t fill out til I was in my 30s. We have to accept the fact the BI might be skinny his whole NBA career like Tayshawn.

But to answer the poll, it’s Kuz. He is the only one that wants to be great. I’ll take my chances with that. The other 2 guys have potential but just doesn’t seem to want it. See Booker, Embid, Mitchell, Simmons. You can see and feel that they all want it. The drive is always better than potential.

Booker hasn’t shown he wants to be great. He’s shown he wants to score and do little else.

Reminds me of someone else living off of hype. That marketability is huge though.

I voted Lonzo fwiw .. Even tho his poor shooting pisses me off he still shows some promise to grow into an elite playmaker/defender

And because in 2K MyCareer they have him as an allstar 2 seasons from now

Not too long ago it would have been Ingram for me, but today I’d have to go with Zo. His BBIQ, his defense, his speed, his passing, he rarely shoots 2’s, doesn’t pound the rock, consistent from 3, unlimited potential.

Kuz is a star, Ingram will flourish somewhere else, but if Zo can figure things out he has all-time great potential.

The question is will Lonzo figure it out? If you look a little deeper into his performance from college he was historically great as a freshman .. that makes me want to believe that he will pan out in the NBA one day. Then I see the shots he misses in games and it leaves me with a face palm.

Zo without hesitation. He's the only one with remarkable talent.

That said, the team would be fantastic with a star in place of Ingram. The other guys fit well around star players.

Kuz

If Lonzo changes his form and that goes well, he has a top 15 player ceiling. By far the highest on the team. Hope this happens. Current form is limiting all shots but C&S

Still holding out hope for BI, but the important aspects of his game are a mess

Kuz also needs a big tweak in his jumper... and defense

For me it would have been because Leonard was injured.

It was a tough call between Kuzma and Lonzo.

- Kuzma is keeping us in games with his play, putting up near all star numbers with improved defense. He’s a very talented player already and he’s still improving. His shooting seems to have declined a little, but I believe that is because he’s working so hard at other aspects of his game. His 3-point shooting will be better in time. He’s also the best fit with LeBron.

- Lonzo is a very smart player that can be elite on defense at times. However, his inconsistency on offense with poor shooting, terrible free throws, and inability to finish at the rim really hurts the team. He may develop a floater, more consistant shooting, and finishing, but he really should be much better than he is currently so I wouldn’t count on those things improving enough. I’m still hoping he can turn into what we all see in him and I’d hate to loose him.

- Ingram has all the tools to be great and should be great. But, he’s not great, something just hasn’t clicked and it’s really hard for me to put my finger on why. Maybe he’s just not being used right. ISO is not way to go with him. I still have my hopes for him. I wish I was as confident he will figure it out as I used to be. I’d trade him at this point if a player that is a better fit became available. He’s gone from the least tradeable to the most tradeable over the last year or so in my mind.

I chose to keep Kuz, which surprises me. Lonzo would of been my pick previously.

BI is 'untouchable'. That's why no one wants to vote for him. Where's the none of the above option?

I think the crazy part is, even if it's just C&S, if he starts showing any real consistency, he's easily Top 40.

Not BI for sure, guy really can’t do much more than he’s doing now IMO...he has no elite qualities.

I like Kuzma, could potentially be a top 10 scorer in the league year in and out and his defense is improving. His 3 pt shooting is not though and at best he can be a slightly above average NBA defender. He’s also older than Ball.

Ball what we all wanted offensively and although he has improved slightly, it’s highly likely his offensive ceiling is just being a league average shooter. His defense has been a revelation though and him still being so young I think he could potentially be an MVP type guy in the Kidd, Payton, Rondo mold. None of those guys are good enough to be the #1 guy on a championship team, but #2 or #3 in their prime? For sure.

I’d keep ball if I had to choose.

1. Lonzo
2. Kuz
3. BI

That's who I would keep in that order. Sadly I've lowered the bar on BI and I don't expect much from him. Lonzo has the highest ceiling and Kuz provides the best immediate production. Haven't given up on BI but I no longer dream about his "potential". He is not good.

If we redo this poll after tonight, BI would be taking some votes away from Kuz and Zo.

I don't fault anyone for the poll results..

It's not easy to assess our talent when they're playing in roles they aren't suited for.

If Kuz was still playing center I doubt he'd get a single vote.

I just think Kuz is our most consistant player. The others show flashes of what they could be. Kuz just brings it every night.
