He is if he can buy into the next level team concept you need to go for a championship. But if he's gonna mope about his shots/minuteds or his next contract and shrug Luke off, he becomes far less valuable to our team. |

They should have taken KCP, Bonga, and a 2nd round draft pick, but hey, that's just my opinion. |
Were we offering that much? I think that's a grosser overpay than what the Wiz gave up especially when KCP could be rerouted for another asset. |
I have the feeling that Bonga is valued by the Lakers a lot more than his perceived value around the league. That's not uncommon for a team's own draft picks, but I think it's especially true in this case. I would be surprised to see him in any deal. |
That's fair, as I personally can see a lot of potential in Bonga, but you need to give up something to get something, and I don't see KCP moving the needle alone in any trade as he's shooting just 34% from 3 this year, which is pretty inline with his career average of 34.5%. Not really the shooter his reputation bills him out to be. |

correct - he can to be re-routed anywhere in a single transaction at any time, without adding another player |
and in theory, a team can do two simultaneous transactions if the numbers work, right? For example, in theory, the Wiz could trade Wall and Ariza to a team in two separate deals even though everyone knows it is really one big deal. |
yep. While I don't think it is poissible - CBA allows for that as you can treat them as two separate transactions.
However - Ariza for KCP (transaction #1) and MMorris for Beas +Zubac (transaction #2) can be consummated as we speak within the CBA and will bring Wizards below the lux tax this season and out of repeater tax as a result.
Just sayin' - not like I know something others don't or have any sources _________________ Major bullets dodged: DH12 - twice, LMA, Melo - twice, PG-13, DeMar DeRozan. Hit jackpot with DH-12 at the right time |

Lebron should just demand Ingram to stop trying to iso score in the midrange as if he's Kobe and to transform into his "Ariza"... defense, slashing, spot up 3 shooting. _________________ (bleep) Kawhi |

Aaron Mintz and Trevor Ariza must be high as hell to think we would of included one of our young core guys for him to be a Laker.
He left us in 2010 for a smaller contract in Houston which led to him being a jounreymen. Live with your mistake! Rot in Washington now!
As for Sarver, this guy reminds me of Frank Mcourt and the Dodgers, probably worse |

That's on our end. Wizards will save almost $14mln this season (including lux tax payment they owe as of today) and get out of repeater tax next season (more cash savings). I'd even throw-in a second rounder if they need it _________________ Major bullets dodged: DH12 - twice, LMA, Melo - twice, PG-13, DeMar DeRozan. Hit jackpot with DH-12 at the right time |

he has been good this year....some of their fans expect him to be in the Lonzo Ball trade. I am mostly kidding....Magic fans or some of them online have been claiming a Ball deal framework was in place this summer and will take place this season.

Adkindo, is there smoke in that area about this supposed Ball trade that was believed to be on the table last summer? In other words, does it have more momentum than just an average fan proposing a trade?

Zero that I am aware of. I have tried to be clear when mentioning....this is nothing more than a weird rumor among Orlando fans that started this summer and will not go away for some reason. There is nothing I know of that makes it more credible than Bigfoot sightings.
also, it started under totally different circumstances which makes it less plausible....it began in the summer when there was speculation we were trying to create some cap room.....trade for Kawhi type stuff. |
