I'd start with:

Lonzo
Hart
Lebron
Kuzma
McGee

I'd close with:

Lonzo
Hart
BI
Kuzma
Tyson

Would you really take LeBron out of your closing lineup? I know his end game FT shooting is atrocious. That's why I put KCP in my lineup. Need at least one consistent FT shooter that won't drive you crazy on the line.

We are starting slow because Lonzo doesn't score and BI takes too long to process. I'd start
KCP
Hart
Kuz
Lebron
McGee

Have Lebron start the game with the ball...get the others going...then he can play off the ball until the 4th quarter. Slow starts will be the death of us.

You understand that Lonzo/BI are our two best defenders (and Kuz/LBJ aren't)?

Lonzos D got the offense going against the Suns and it wasn’t the first time that’s happened.

We all want Lonzo's offense to come around, but he is probably the co-MVP defensively speaking for this team (with JaVale).

While the advanced stats may not reflect it, but BI has put a ton of effort on defense playing out of position and chasing guards. He's been very disruptive defensively.

reason being we expend a lot of energy coming back....and in most games...we lose them in the last 6 minutes of the 4th quarter. In this new NBA...offense is the new defense. Its kinda important to get our offensive rhythm going...

Cause we don’t start a SG who can score when set up for despite having two on the roster. I think a Lonzo/KCP or Hart/LeBron/Ingram or Kuz/McGee starting lineup would have success regardless of who is chosen for the 2 and 4 spot. I have my preference but any combo of that rotation would be successful IMO.

I'd love to see Beasley taking Stevenson's spot until he gets out of his slump.

I think they should focus more on getting Kuzma going rather than starting games grinding with BI. When he gets off, particularly from the 3-point line, it has more of a contagious team effect. I know the sample size here is insignificant, but this is now two games in a row where he's single-handedly turned a deficit into a lead with his offense, and they've never looked back.

I agree....Kuzma's offense pulls more gravity than BI's ...If Kuzma gets to scoring it will open it up for the rest of the team. BI makes contested shots...so they will allow him to shoot those all day long....he hasn't gotten to the point where they double him out of fear, or run at his 3pt attempts. If he learns to play off the ball that would make his post play even more potent...because the defense would have to take away one...and get the other...
as it stands now he just has iso play, and he isn't that great at it...

With BI out for awhile it looks like some of us are going to get our wish of seeing how a starting line up of Lonzo, Hart, Kuz, Lebron and McGee will do.

The real question is who should the closing 5 be. And it's last night's line-up:

Lonzo (defense, secondary playmaking)
Hart (shooting, toughness)
Kuzma (shooting, finishing)
Lebron (Lebron)
Chandler (defense, toughness, and dirty work)

You have everything you need with that 5. Ingram doesn't fit, and I think he's not long for this Laker life. I'd bet on him getting moved this summer.

I wouldn't be opposed to KCP starting. He appears to have good chemistry with Lebron.

One playmaker (all you need) and 3 shooters. This was always the answer.
