Lebron easily had his worst game of the season and we got blown out. Is this how it’s going to be every time he’s having an off night? You can tell he was really trying to be aggressive in the first quarter but I saw him totally gassed once he went to the the bench and got subbed for Beasley.

Ball, Ingram, Kuzma and Hart all have one game where they play great then dissappear the next. Ball can’t hit 3s and can’t consistently finish in traffic, Kuzma bricks open 3s and Ingram’s game is too predictable, shooting nothing but ISO fade-away/midrange jumpers. Hart can shoot and finish in traffic but can’t do much else.

So who’s going to step up be our consistent #2 giving us 18-20 PPG nightly and hitting 3s on a consistent basis? I think it would greatly help to have a definitive #2 but no one wants to seem to take on that responsibility.

We definitely need one, and we don't have one. I was hoping Ingram would step up, and you can tell he definitely wants to be that number 2 guy. He's about 2 years away though, unfortunately

Unfortunately, BI.
It would turn into "fortunately BI" if he made the game easier for himself. But I don't see that happening this year.

Generally it’s not that easy to just have a 2nd option to take over when Lebron isn’t playing well. Whether lebron is hitting his shots or not he is going to keep taking them as he is such a high talent player.

Lebron is without a doubt the best player on the team and there is no equal. It’s not like kobe and Shaq where we can argue who is better.

Players can’t just switch from being passive to a ball dominant player like James to a ball dominant player themselves. It’s just not as easy as people make it seem.

Lebron is option 1. Players are forced to feed option 1 and play backup to
Him. If they aren’t used to being option 1 then there is no way for them to be successful at it.

Well, let's see, we could have had George, or Kahwi, or Butler, but we chose to home certain players would eventually come around,

Then we could have Beal, or Green, but, we'll just continue hoping that someone will sign here next summer for LESS money, and suddenly hopefully that person will inspire all the hopefuls to flourish...

great plan...FO!

We couldn’t have had any of them. Their teams didn’t want to trade them to the lakers. Not to mention with George we had no guarantee of lebron so we could have been stuck with George and no one else.

Hindsight is very 20/20

The FO got us the best player in the world and you’re still complaining

Sorry but I'm not satisfied being a .500 team...

We don't need a second superstar to be a fair bit above .500 as a team. If we had just picked up one or two 3 point shooters we'd be set for a pretty good year with just Lebron. I don't understand this philosophy of having no 3 point specialists on the squad.

No one on this squad is a Number 2, we have a bunch of inconsistent 3-5's. The number
2 will need to come from elsewhere; IMO.

This to me is quite accurate, I hoped it would be BI, but "perhaps" another year for that, if then.

BI, Ball and Kuz had their chance...

It's time to give Hart some more burn.

Who cares? Its going to be a different player every time. I am very happy where we are considering all the new players. If one did not expect growing pains, than they are fooling themselves. Will we be a dangerous team down the road, and next year we will be hoisting up another banner. We should all enjoy whats taken place before its great being a Laker fan again.
