The Sky is not falling my friend. We’re barely a quarter into the season. Not even a quarter.

They'll be losing games like this as far into the season as you wanna go. They were losing games like this one due to blown leads, dead offensive spots, FTs and being outcoached last year. These aren't things they're going to overcome under Luke's watch. They were carried over to this season from last. Taking a Xanax won't change that.

Gotta give Orlando some credit they get up extra to play us.

We could of easily won this if Lebron drove while in bonus instead of settling for the three. An they executed off of all our mistakes gotta give them their due

With the Magic out of fouls you need to be aggressive and drive to the rim or pass to someone that has a lane to do so.

Just not getting why free throw practice can't fix the FT problems. Magic shot 92% and Lakers shot 64%. That's the difference.

Sorry I do not buy that story. You lost to them few days ago in a blowout. You have to show more fire and desire and smash them at home. It was a crap game.

KCP is at fault for the lose as much as LeBrin, at least someone was defending LeBron when he shot those step back 3’s, Pope was wide open and clanked 2 of them which was a absolute killer and more so then LeBron’s misses.

And when they've managed to get past their FT woes for a little while, the 3 point shooting will go to crap and/or they'll come out to start a game like zombies and/or they'll blow a nice lead in a matter of minutes. Same things over and over and over and it never seems to piss Luke off.

I’m pretty sure Luke is pissed off

He made adjustments to get us back in the game. An as unpopular as it may sound he did the right choice keeping KCP in the game.

Lebron shooting the three while tied at 114 with a minute to go while in bonus was Lebron’s choice not Luke.

Don't kid yourself. His adjustments are what made the comeback attempt fail. They got KCP'd. Far as Bron's shot, I don't put that on Luke. If you think they should've been going for more free throws, that's your bad. Bron has a better chance at making that shot than a pair of FTs. Pile of bricks from the line today.

Yupe, also did you notice when he got fouled on that alley loop miss lay up? NBA Refs are on full display this year to screw teams when they can, someone needs to complain to the league cause this ish is ridiculous.

They are just regressing to the Stern era mean when refs were allowed to control games.

Anyone can miss threes. It's a low percentage shot. What they can't keep missing is free throws. Those should be very high percentage. Make free throws and it's a win.

Ahh. I see. An alternate reality kinda thing. Bron and the Lakers were going to win the game with free throws. Bron is especially good at the line in pressure situations at the end of games. I get it.

Exactly. I really don’t think Luke has the cajones to coach LBJ in that manner.

Curious of how Walton is supposed to "have the cojones" to coach James.

Bench him? Call a play for another player? Criticize him in the media for taking the lazy step back three instead of driving? How does FO and Magic react to Walton disrespecting the money maker?

James is the media darling of our generation. No HC has had any luck actually coaching James in the past 10 years. Spoelstra had conflicts, Blatt was fired. Lue had a nervous breakdown and now Walton has gone from a young HC that has a young team buying into playing hard to a bum with James and the inconsistent roster.

James is the "best player in the world". Why would you take the ball out of his hands? Walton would get crucified if he ever did. Lakers will live and die by an aging James.

To get the media attention and stats they have to accept the negatives too. Get used to it, not likely it will be any better over the next couple seasons as he ages and declines. Simply two sides of the same coin.

I agree we should of smashed coming off a lost to them at their house but it’s just not that easy. Especially when their big man puts up Chamberlain numbers and Lebron wasn’t himself today. Orlando came more prepared

KCP ain’t our franchise player. Lebron is. You gotta maximize every opportunity to the fullest and while in bonus you just gotta attack the rim

You can't win consistently with this many TOs and missed FTs.

But a contested long distance step back three gives you a better chance??!?

Lebron has been carrying the team to many wins already. Just because he didn't have another 40 point game today to carry the team to another victory doesn't mean the loss is on him. The loss is on Luke and the rest of the team for not playing better to build a bigger lead so we wouldn't have had to deal with a close game like this.

This isn't a good free throw shooting team. They were at 25th place in percentage before this game. You need to make smart rotations, timeouts, and X/O plays to make up for 20-31. They most likely know they should make them and if they do make them it's a win, but when they get to the line, they choke.

Bron ain’t great at clutch free throws but it’s still the right move to put yourself on the line than a contested step back three from 4 feet behind the line.

Plus the chances of a Lebron getting a and 1 layup attempt is high. Nobody in the world can guard him go back to your money maker!

They need some guys with bball knowledge for the postgame show on Spectrum...love James but it's not enough.
They need a good player/coach like a Rondo breaking things down

For LeBron James, yeah. He makes tough shots like that all the time. I'd just as soon not have him at the FT line trying to ice a game. Or the rest of them for that matter. I see the misses and it actually registers that this team sucks at shooting FTs.

Thanks, FDB. KCP was instrumental in the comeback. Was the only who could manage DJ, made a number of steals and previously had made a 3pt.

He's been shooting them fairly well of late, crept up to .393 before today.

Alright. I'm out. On to the next. At Denver. Better go into that one like it's at Portland or it'll really be an embarrassment.
