Just heard him mention it on ESPN RADIO. Didn't get to hear him after the commercial break to get more details.

Anyone else catch it?

Let’s give the move a chance, if he regains some of his focus and mentality we will be very very good but if he messes up we simply cut him, everyone thought McGee was a bum but he’s playing like a Top 10 C right now.

OKC waives Melo, OKC becomes hottest team in the league.

Hottest team in the league from last year adds Melo, becomes one of the un-hottest teams in the league. Inactivates Melo and wins 2/3.

hell no. He's about to get waived by a team after 13 games. He hasn't done anything for years, why the heck would we sign him ? Besides him being LeBron friend. We have Beasley at that position and he doesn't even get playing time, when would he even play? Don't pick this bum up

He reps, Embiid, Pau, CP3, KAT among others.

I don't doubt that he can make some contribution... he shoots better than Lance and will probably make less mistakes.

The problem is whether he demands minutes and stunts the progress of some of the younger players.

I have a sinking feeling this may happen because of the LBJ connection but I hope it doesn't.

U haven't seen him play in a while? Dude, catches the ball and is totally confused as to when to shoot or pass, then he decides to throw up a f'it shot that clanks off the rim. His defense is worse then his attitude

if he acts up or prevents young players from progressing we cut him it’s quite simple... it’s basically a risk that can end up being huge for us, not trying to support the move but I can’t act like we are somehow doomed if we get him, Lance was cut from the Clippers and Memphis but has played good basketball with the Pacers and this year with the Lakers... every player adapts at some point.

Lance is a career 30.6% shooter from 3.

Melo shoots 34.7% and shot 35.7% last season on high volume.

Mediocre as that may be... it's 5% better than Lance.

Also he doesn't do as many reckless, stupid plays.

I agree with your sentiments, but I'm worried the front office and LBJ have their own agenda.

Hopefully it's nothing more than SAS ESPN clickbait... but as I said, I have a sinking feeling.

I am going to say this.....if Melo comes for cheap, if he can hit a shot, great. He could possibly produce a shot or two that we aren't getting from Beasley.

I am not a Melo guy but I am not going to jump on the FO if they decide to take him on. I am not......I have faith in the FO.

Do I agree, Melo is done? Maybe....maybe not 100%. Like I said, I have never been a Melo fan but if Magic and Pelinka and Lebron think he can offer something, I am not going to disagree.
