Well, he can't be any worse then Zu or Williams.
Plus, our team looks more intimidating now _________________ “Life is too short. You have to keep it moving.” - Kobe |

In his game log, his best game is against us, 14 and 11. Hope he knows playing for us isn't the same as against us. LOL! |

I think Chandler winning the title in 2011 with the Mavs made him take a step back and wanted to be more with rebuilding teams that’s why he signed with NY and PHX in these last few years, glad he wants taste of winning again. |

I like, always have rim protection. |
Honestly, Chandler was one of the only Suns players that impressed me with how he was moving around the floor when we played them this season. For sure he is diminished as a player. But, I was genuinely surprised to see how he was moving for his age. Still giving consistent effort. If this does happen, good for him escaping that team. I think he'll be solid for us. |

Suns and Chandler have had a mutual agreement on a buyout on his $13M-plus expiring deal for some time now, but Chandler needed a landing spot. Chandler found it with Lakers, who need size, and as @espn_macmahon says, will welcome his locker room presence. |

This is part of the reason -- as I and lots others reported over the summer -- that LA was never panicked about their center situation. Buyouts were inevitable. This is earlier than expected, but still. |

Just yesterday I said that I didn't understand their thought process going into the season without a backup center, but that I trusted Magic. This is it why I trust him. He has more info than we do and he had a plan. |

Wow, I didn't see that coming.
That's great. I have always liked him. He's a professional and he doesn't take nights off.
At least that's what I have heard. I think he is well respected around the league as being a pro's-pro...right?
Great signing.... |

took a 2 hour nap and woke up to this.
great to hear FO realized the backup 5 needed to be addressed ASAP.
we got a guy who can rebound, set proper picks, be a paint presence and catch lobs. Also when he blocks shots or strips the player, he manages to keep it in bounds, which should help out transition offense. Anything else from Tyson is a bonus.
His biggest worry is staying healthy.
But I love the signing !

Yep, dude is a winner, Mavs likely don’t win the title in 2011 without his presence, he finally realizes that he can get a more few titles playing with LeBron. |

So, at this point its the waiting game. The buyout probably won't be official until Monday and then wait 2 more days to officially sign him. I am just assuming here but expect his first game to be probably by the end of next week. Could have used him against Toronto tomorrow, can get away with our current lineup against Portland tonight. |

From reading, it sounds like Tyson and the Suns have been working on a buy out for some time now. Tyson was just waiting for the ideal opening/team to sign with. Word must have gotten to Maginka.

The Lakers are making a mistake thinking that small ball and running is the key.
They don't have two of the greatest 3 point shooters that ever played. And a Durant and Green.
The Lakers will be smart to get out of their small ball run out of control mindset. Take the break if it is there. But don't force it.
Take good shots.
They now have a great halfcourt player in Lebron. Why run like a chicken without a head?
Kuzma in that situation is OUT of control.
With Lebron it is more out of efficiency and control. |
