He's more motivated.Really not getting much playing time with the Suns on a very bad team. A chance to be on a playoff team in his hometown.TC is still an outstanding defensive player and rebounder and incredibly smart a lot of stuff he does won't show up in the boxscore. |

whats with all this Ariza talk? I was one of his biggest fans but at this point in his career he has very little to offer the Lakers. He'd be a better player to have on the bench than Lance or Beasley but he's not going to lift this team to another level or anything. _________________ (bleep) Kawhi |

Why anti-Lance? If it wasn’t for him today it wouldn’t been a blow out most likely... his 3’s pretty much knocked the Kings out. |

Is it true Lebron was responsible for Tyson getting bought out this early in the season? If so, props to Bron. _________________ Playoffs is good enough. - Jeanie Buss 2024 |

Nostalgia. No more no less. He was horrible in the playoffs and it's continued into this season. People don't actually think he can contribute they just want to believe he could. _________________ It was reminiscent of one of those Most Interesting Man in the World advertisements: "I don't always shoot 6-for-28 from the field, but when I do, I become the youngest player in league history to score 28,000 career points."

The anticipation of the Chandler-like effect on the Lakers.
Perimeter communication on defense.
Switchable 2-4.
3-point shooting.
That's, a lot to offer the Lakers. I don't want to see Lance off the bench. I want to see Chandler, Ariza, Hart, KCP, and Zo run and shoot. _________________ Resident Car Nut.

He's shot above average from 3 once in the past 5 seasons, is at 34% this season and shot 28% in the playoffs with Houston? _________________ It was reminiscent of one of those Most Interesting Man in the World advertisements: "I don't always shoot 6-for-28 from the field, but when I do, I become the youngest player in league history to score 28,000 career points." |

I don't always adhere to the numbers when guys play on bad teams. I do think that there would be a change with that shooting, but he's not far from his career average.
But the defense? LAL needs that switchability and communication.
Dude got 7+ attempts per game. It'll probably be half of that as a Laker. _________________ Resident Car Nut.

Bad teams? He was with Houston the past 4 years. 35%, 37%, 34%, 36%. Playoffs: 37%, 14%, 37%, 28%. His career average is also below average. I'm not sure he will get more accurate with less attempts. For his career he's been incredibly bad when he takes less than 4 attempts per game. I think I'd even rather gamble on KCP regaining some of last year's form.
Per 36:
Lance 19 ppg 7.8 rpg 4.5 apg 1.8 spg 0.0 bpg 47/40/71
Ariza 11.1 ppg 6.1 rpg 3.6 apg 0.8 spg 0.4 bpg 37/34/88 _________________ It was reminiscent of one of those Most Interesting Man in the World advertisements: "I don't always shoot 6-for-28 from the field, but when I do, I become the youngest player in league history to score 28,000 career points."

We know Beaz can score. He's proven that. It was just curious signing him when we knew we were already crowded at forward with Lebron, Brandon and Kuz. _________________ "Suck it up. Don't be a baby. Do your job." - Kobe Bryant |

They might've been thinking Beaz/Kuz small ball 5, found out it don't work outside Draymond |

You’ll see the value of having Beasley on your roster when/if Kuzma goes down with an injury.
This team is very, very deep. With the exception of losing James, they can withstand multiple injuries and not skip a beat. _________________ A creative scorer, a wing defender, and a shooter. |

He's LeBron's buddy. I think that's really all there was to it. _________________ It was reminiscent of one of those Most Interesting Man in the World advertisements: "I don't always shoot 6-for-28 from the field, but when I do, I become the youngest player in league history to score 28,000 career points." |
