It really annoys me how there's always a ton of Cubs fans at Dodger Stadium every time the Cubs play there.

It is even more annoying when there’s a ton of Cubs fans at Dodgers Stadium when the Cubs aren’t playing there.

To be fair, Dodgers' fans show up in other stadium in droves...more than any other team by far imo.

That’s the nature of trading prospects in baseball. This FO has been very good at recognizing the elite level talent and holding onto it. There were many opportunities to screw up with Seager, Bellinger, Urias, Verdugo, etc.

yup, and we've given them alot of credit.

Some lesser trades are coming back to haunt them this year though.

Gotta bring light to these prospects as well.

Montas
Yordan Alvarez
Zach Eflin

One thing this office has been horrible at is signing International Latino players.

They've spent big money on the wrong guys

They've missed out on some pretty big names (Guerrero, Soto, Tatis)

And they ended up trading vs. keeping the wrong guys (Yordan Alvarez vs. all the others they did keep)

The thing is, you don't want to lose that big in trades for Josh Fields and Jimmy Rollins.

Yup. This is what I'm afraid of in the playoffs.

At some point, I think he's going to blow a couple of very important games.

Another game where Buehler pitches lights out and we lose because our bullpen failed him again.

Sorry bud, despite that piece of video evidence, it’s been very clear for decades that Cubs fans are amongst the most prevalent of road fans, and certainly more so than Dodger fans. When it comes to road games, whether it’s a huge rival team like the Cards or a distant team that’s not even in the same division or league, Cubs fans are there in big numbers.

I've always wondered: do all the Cubs fans at Dodger Stadium live in the L.A. area? And if so, are all of them from Chicago, or did some of them grow up here and feel like they were too cool to root for our sports teams?

When I was a kid, around 96-98 there were at least as many Bulls fans as Laker fans at my school in Santa Monica, even though we were already title contenders. It really pissed me off.

I'm really not sure how one can determine such a thing, exactly. What I do know is that the Dodgers are leading the league in road attendance this year, last year, the year prior, the year prior to that, and, again, the year prior to that, this being as far back as I checked.

Kenley Jansen gave up 13 hrs last year and 5 already this year (he's on pace for 12 this year).

Before these last 2 years, the most he's ever given up was 6 in any one season.

Holy crap just looked it up and Ryu's currently rocking a 15:1 K/walk ratio. What in the f?

And an unbelievable 1.26 ERA after no earned runs today. The guy is having a jaw dropping-ly incredible season so far. It’s seems almost impossible for him to keep it up yet his ERA keeps going down. I’m sure he’ll have a couple outings that will inflate it but for now it is almost impossible to score on him.

Jansen has now given up the same number of home runs and walks as he did during the entire 2017 season. (It's not like he's walking a ton of people this year either, to be fair.) He's definitely not "automatic" anymore. If you watch most of the games, I think that's pretty clear. Is he good enough to be the closer of a championship team still? Perhaps. But I worry every time he takes the mound.

He hasn't been that guy for more than a year now. Problem is you can't move his contract unless you pay a lot of it off. And if you bring in someone else for closer duties will he become a locker room cancer? I honestly don't know. But at this point I would rather have Baez closing the games than Jansen and that's something I once thought I would never say.

Lowest ERA after 14 starts for a Dodger since the early 1900's.

And we have had a few decent pitchers in between.

Ryu taking the hill at Dodger Stadium is close to automatic.

Same here. I keep saying, “Now he’s figured it out.” Nope.

His ERA+ of 336 is the best of all time, even better than Pedro's incredible 291 in 2000.

Few probably know this but Kersh had a 15.64 K/BB ratio in 2016. He would have shattered the record of 11.63 had he pitched 13 more innings. Now maybe Ryu will. Higher K/BB ratios is a new trend. Sale (5.36) has the best lifetime, while 6 of the top 9 are all active.
