Seager just cannot help himself. Has to swing at the first pitch.

Beaty over Pollock paying dividends

Imagine if we didn’t waste all those ABs given to Pollock earlier in the series

Man, Seager’s sooo bad.

Why can’t he have good ABs like Beaty?

I dont get it. It looked like a homerun to me. Why did they overturn it?

The play wasn't even a close one, I could have beat that out.

Strasburg should have thrown more pitches that inning. Now he probably settles down and has several easy scoreless innings.

It never went over the wall. It went through a hole in the fence

Buehler’s got great command so far

That’s the only thing I’m worried about - sometimes he doesn’t have command and falls behind in the count and walks people

I've been saying this for quite a while, but I'm not a Seager fan. (I say that strictly from a GM's perspective, not as a Dodger fan...obviously I want any Dodger to succeed if they are going to play.) I don't like his approach at the plate--even when he was an All-Star--and he's not a good defensive SS.

Always wonder what JT is going to do on plays like that, but he handled that one quite well. So far, so good.

2 innings for Buehler.

So far so good. Low pitch count. Bottom of the order coming up in the 3rd for him

That’s true. Of course Seager swung and missed at a first pitch breaking ball but the other hitters looked a lot better.

Strasburg allowed 3 hits, 1 earned run and 0 walks in 6 innings of game 2. Dodgers got 3 hits, a walk and 2 runs in the first inning today.
