Golden State got blown out, and was in it in the 4th quarter. Wow.
And look at how much better OKC is without Carmelo and with Schroder. Even minus Roberson. Melo = subtraction by addition.
Might as well add that Houston was playing poorly with Melo on the roster, and I don't think they've lost since it was announced that he was going to be away from the team. |

Looks like Boston is in some trouble and Rozier wants out
Wander if they go after Beal. I would trade Kyrie Rozier and Hayward for Beal and wall |

Hayward looks like damaged goods. Shooting worse than lonzo. |

Tatum isn't living up to 2nd season expectations. They had an amazing season last year that had everybody raving. People even thinking they can beat the Warriors this year. But they've always felt like a rag tag group of overachievers to me. Their kids were overachieving, unlike ours. LOL! Jaylen Brown and Rozier numbers are down. Tatum took awhile to get going, and his numbers are up, but efficiency down. They're trying to get used to playing with Kyrie and Hayward, who is vastly overpaid. Gordon was never a max player, not even before his injury. I'm glad Danny Ainge isn't perfect. |

Yeah Boston is in Full Panic right now.
Blaming Stevens for the issues.

That's why I think a lot in this forum, as well as the loud Stephen A Smith are wrong in thinking Klay is the perfect 2nd max for the Lakers. Klay is very mediocre when his shots don't fall. He has little handles so he doesn't create for himself or others. Steph and Klay alone isn't enough either. That's why Draymond is important to them, heck and sometimes the 3 of them aren't enough as the 2016 Cavs proved. They are jump shooters at the end of the day, so they're beatable. |
It depends so much on the role players but that’s true for any team. MJ and Pippen on the Bulls wouldn’t have been the same team if you replace Rodman with Kwame Brown. Ron Harper was injured in the finals and it significantly weakened the Bulls.
The Warriors looked dominant in the past when Curry was out so this surprises me. Even before Durant was a Warrior, Curry was injured in the playoffs and Golden State still looked really good when it was just Klay and Green leading the way. |

Exactly
Gs has garbage role players they have too much money invested in their top 4. With curry and Green out they are rolling with g league players. And it doesn't help they are the warriors, because everyone wants to beat them |

Hope they go after Beal just so they have to give up a few assets and make us trading for AD hypothetically easier. I don't expect Ainge to be that shortsighted but lets see |

They are workhorses with an enforcer inside in Montrezl Harrell. We had one like that doing some dirty work, grabbing some boards with muscle, putting bodies on people, his name was Julius Randle. If only we still had Jules, I think he's the ingredient we are missing right now. The toughness inside, the ability to switch from bigs to small. |

BOOM Blake Griffin.
I would love it if Detroit would hold on and beat the Rockets. Why? Because I dislike the Rockets.
EDIT: Welp OT. Oh well.
MORE EDIT: wow Reggie Jackson went AUWFF. Fun game. |

Tim Bontemps
ESPN
Rick Carlisle says DeAndre Jordan, who is shooting a career-best from the foul line, could potentially be used as a technical foul shooter "in certain situations." A career 45 percent FT shooter, Jordan is shooting 80 percent this year.

Looks like the Lakers woke Cleveland up out of a slumber. They've been a completely different team over the last 3 games, handing Philly their 1st home loss last night, and playing strong up 13 against the Spitless Rockets tonite. Sexton living up to his billing & Triston Thompson has turned into a consistent double double machine. See if they can close this one out. _________________ I'm On point, On task, On message, and Off drugs. A Streetwise Smart Bomb, Out of rehab and In denial. What's wrong with OKC? They're losing to Denver. They're not playing like they want it.
GS is realizing how much Curry means to them. He was scheduled to play tonight, he didn't. Cousins is due back on the 29th. I think both will play Mon 26th. Both will have to get their wind and legs. _________________ Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.

My guess is that they built a team out of cast offs that have a chip on their shoulder. There have been quite a few championship teams that have had that type of mentality though probably not anything that builds a dynasty. |
