It's going to be interesting to see what happens with DLO this summer....
Can't compare Booker's contract since the Suns just overpaid for him... However, I would imagine at the minimun a contract similar to Zac Lavine... (around 20 a year)...
If that's the case, I think the Nets will lose him for nothing since I doubt they will commit to DLO like that.

What are their options?
Nets already committed 3 years to Spencer Dinwiddie and Caris is another player that is ready for extension I think in 2020.....
I think they will give Tobias harris a max offer this summer and they will probably want to resign to DLO, but at a lower deal (maybe 15mish)

Well, they're going to offer alot of players - since they have the cap room. But will they be able to attract any free agents?
But if they are going to balk at DLo's market price, then what was the whole point in trading for him?
He's actually turned out better than we thought when we traded him.
Without Moz/Deng perhaps we could of gotten a better return for the Dlo trade assuming the FO wanted him gone regardless.
I feel that the trade was good for him as Hollywood was a distraction and the trade was a good change of scenery.
Moz/Deng is a copout. We didnt have to sacrifice him, but I think Byron is the reason that DLO is gone.
Too many distractions in LA, but none in NY?!
Big factor in two ways IMO. First, he probably saw DLO as one of the contributing factors leading to Byron's ousting as HC. And secondly, he probably talked to Byron about DLO and I'm sure Byron wasn't all that complimentary about Russ.
It is what it is though. D'angelo is in a very good situation right now with an organization and coaching staff that is trending up in a big way and he's a playing a key part in that upswing

Probably just Harris I would think..... Think the clippers will probably trade him before the deadline since they will go all in on Durant/Leonard this summer...
DLo contract situation is interesting. The nets gave both otto porter and alan crabbe both their offers that the wizards and blazers had to match so I have a feeling another team will try to F over the nets regarding DLo contract. In addition, tons of teams could max him out this summer or give him a deal much higher than what BK would want...
Should be the starting shooting guard for the Lakers
If he ever shoots close to the level he was expected to, his upside if utilized right is high as an offensive player.
38% w him coming off more pindowns and also shooting a bit better off the bounce. He’s an allstar level O player . Not a bad defender too

Weird thing was it was always evident with Russell in terms of offensive potential....

I don't know that he'll ever be an efficient offensive player though, he doesn't get to the line enough and his 2FG% is pretty bad. If Russell shot 42% from 3 this year, he'd be averaging 19.6 ppg on 55.4% TS%, which is only average. You can survive without getting to the line if you shoot well from 2, and vice-versa. But not both.
It is good that he is figuring out the turnover problem though.

That’s very true. I’ve been watching his numbers, and in December through now, he’s gotten his two point percentage up around 50% (while ironically suffering a three point slump), so there’s indication he might be getting the, although he’s way too much finesse and needs to go ahead and draw contact more. But man, he’s got a bazillion shots from all kinds of angles and his passing is now starting to look like what his potential suggested. Just whipping on point passes through tiny windows to guys who aren’t even open until after the ball is on the way.
And to be fair, when you look at the fact that he’s spending most of the game without a single credible shot creator on the floor with him, and the entire defensive focus is on him, what he’s doing right now is damned impressive. _________________ “We must always take sides. Atkinson praised D'Angelo Russell's acceptance of coaching & criticism. When asked if DLo's gotten better at it since his #Lakers days or if his rep was a myth: “A myth. From Day 1 I’ve seen none of that. He’s been receptive, accepting, you can coach him." #Nets
