Nets will keep him. He’s really setting up that offense and he’ll only keep getting better.
His shot is what will make him a star player, but he’s doing a bunch of other things well.
He does need to hit that 38% from three though. 40% high volume makes him a true star, which will be hard to reach. |

C'mon DLo. Even Zo shoots better than that |

He’s always been streaky (along with drawing fouls, improving his shot consistency is something he needs continued work on), but he’s still out there making stuff happen on the bad shooting nights. On both ends. _________________ “We must always take sides. Neutrality helps the oppressor, never the victim. Silence encourages the tormentor, never the tormented.” ― Elie Wiesel |

Lineup changes helped a lot - moving LeVert to the bench and having Kurucs at the 4 instead of Graham |

Quote: | The Nets are the league’s top-rated defense since Kurucs moved into the starting five, yielding just 92.3 points per 100 possessions. I can’t remember a time when I’ve typed that before. |

if they didn't play treveon at the 4 for like a month they would have 40 wins already |

In Kenny's defense, Kurucs hit the rookie wall hard. He was struggling badly. Think the benching and rest helped him out.
Treveon is a good idea, but the idea wasn't manifesting into anything. Teams were packing it against Dlo and Joe. Caris moving to the bench really helped too because his shot hasn't been there yet.
I want to see Dlo more off ball at times. Get some easy looks. So much is off the dribble for him this year because of necessity. Haven't seen much of his off ball cutting that he showed as a Laker. Also his post game is done. Kenny never letting him do that . Not in the Nets' offense.
He went back to being drunk at the line these past few games as well
Their upcoming schedule is disgusting. |

he did hit that wall hard
but treveon was building that wall himself all season
I think playing out of position like that affected treveon's legs on the offensive end
I wanted kenny to just start demarre and have rodi as the backup 4 even when he was struggling, because even if nothing else is going for rodi, he is gonna be active and annoy the hell outta somebody....blake was ready to fight him yesterday
as far as dlo goes, thats why im not particularly worried about this recent shooting slump, I remember at least 3 off ball looks he got yesterday and he hit 2 of them, got fouled with no call on the other one and still just barely missed because the ball rimmed out.
Nets just need one more playmaker, because even tho spencer and caris are back, he's still playing most of his mins without another player that allows him to roam off ball a lil bit...rodi and joe can make plays as secondary guys, but he still has to initiate everything |

Agree with everything, but I also think he needs to up his movement without the ball. The times I’ve watched he’s just standing. But that’s also partially because Dinwiddie and Levert are so iso oriented. Dinwiddie is killing it in ISO’s this year.
The offense isn’t really designed for him to be off ball much though. |

Great nationally televised matchup tonight against okc and kid so far has shown up. BK got the toughest schedule down the stretch. _________________ Music is my medicine |

He’s struggling. Teams are blitzing the hell out of him. His shot has been erratic too. |

Not sure why they moved all the rest of their ballhandlers to the bench and have him out there against starters without another guy who can take more than one or two dribbles. _________________ “We must always take sides. That’s how the lineup was when he flourished though. Nothing has really changed in that sense. He didn’t play with another ball handler in the starting lineup.
Teams are just solely focused on him and Joe. He’s also cold from outside recently.
I’m confident he’ll get back though. |

He hasn't played this many games since his rookie season. I think he's hit a wall. |

Just as I said that LaVert missed DLo on a nice baseline cut and then proceeded to just dribble around aimlessley. Hes also just keeps trying to do suicide steals. _________________ Llluuukkkeee |

Moving forward, I don't like the DLO-Caris combo.
Think a huge reason DLO flourished is because Caris got injured and Kenny didn't have anyone else to rotate with DLo besides Spencer and napier. |
