KCP JOSH BRANDON UPDATES

Per Trudell

KCP went back to L.A. for treatment for tendinitis in his R knee, but he’s cleared for next practice and ready to go in Thursday’s opener. Ingram got hit in the quad last game and Hart’s had the hamstring tightness - they’re resting tonight but fine and ready for practice too.

Wow. Lonzo, Javale still play restricted minutes too.

That doesn't leave us much tonight.

Yeah it would be kinda annoying if they wanted to show off against most of our bench units.

I kinda want their squad to play at least a little against us. I want to see us play well against the best, not Looney and Bell.

CARUGOAT OUT

I missed this earlier (well more like Trudell didn’t think it was important enough to bring up LOL ). We have no team tonight whatsoever. Damn

Per Oram
LeBron James, Rajon Rondo, Brandon Ingram, Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, Josh Hart and Alex Caruso all out for Lakers tonight in San Jose.

Luke Walton said Kentavious Caldwell-Pope (tendinitis) participated in almost all of practice and was pulled out at the end for precautionary reasons. Walton said Caldwell-Pope is good to go for the opener against Portland.

what is this with Wagner, he is not playing at all, but he was always dressed in a training suit on the bench and jumping around when something good happened, so he can´t be injured that bad...its really strange

I wanted to add this earlier when I saw it on Twitter but I got locked out of my LG account on my phone (???) and couldn't access here until I got to my laptop. Anyway I am back now

He can be. Iguodala had a bone bruise during last years Playoffs and he said at times he could look fine but sometimes it hurt to even walk and definitely running and basketball-ing was out of the question. He was actually not happy that the team kept listing him as day-to-day because in his opinion it downplayed his injury and made folks wonder why he wasn't playing if he "wasn't hurt that bad" when he actually was.

Could be a similar thing happening with Mo. Our FO/PR/whoever doesn't have a good track record with this type of thing.

MO UPDATE

Probably in his thread already but in the spirit of completeness (and I just wrapped this project so now I’ll be able to update more easily)

Per Trudell

Moe Wagner (knee contusion) is playing full contact 5-on-5 at the end of Friday’s practice. Looks like he did everything today for the first time. We’ll confirm with Walton in a moment.

Literally just landed at LAX, so far I’m not seeing anything new on the injury front. I will check again closer to game time. I am going to the game tonight so if I see anything interesting I’ll mention that too

Welp. Suspensions coming. Hope Caruso's hip is ready because we'll have no BI and no Rondo to back up Ball.

Silver lining would be Kuz sliding out of center to 3/4 alongside LeBron and Zu coming alive and showing he can back up McGee. Pipe dream?

Speaking of pipe dreams - I liked Woody Guthrie's Woodstock version of that song. My how times have changed. For airport baggage and for 'keys.'
