As a last ditch effort to fix Zubac, I would recreate that scene from Dodgeball where they'd throw wrenches to improve reflexes.
We should have bit the bullet and signed Dwight.
Heck let's even give Bynum a shot. |

Kuz and BI both showed they're going to be good.
KCP looked pretty uninspiring out there. Hart please.
Hart looked fine.
Rondo looked fine.
LeBron is just fine.
Lance - pleasant surprise, still a loose cannon
Beasley - bit concerned
McGee - looks real good
Zubac - ouch he looked awful. Playing for the national team must mean staying at status quo and not working on improving the game in the offseason.
Caruso - great steals, great defense, great push up the floor, terrible execution near the basket
Bonga, good second effort, looks mobile for his size, stiff shot
Get healthy Zo and Mo. We need you both. |

It looks like this team will get themselves in trouble when they start walking the ball upcourt and play deliberately on offense.
Looks like Rondo will make a big impact on this team. Had 7 boards and 11 assists in just 23 minutes - and took only 3 shots. He's that rare player who can make a big impact without looking to score - and we have not 1, not 2 but 3 of those guys. _________________ Lakers 49ers Chargers Dodgers |

Ball stops with Lance though. Fans will put up with it when the shots fall like tonight, but don't expect shooting like this from Lance night in and night out. |

With Lonzo back, I like how the offense will always be moving with any unit you put out there as long as you have Rondo or Lonzo on the floor. |

I for 1 will not be surprised if Stephenson has a good year shooting the ball, dude has been working his butt off the whole summer to Improve on it. |

That first play from the tip got me jacked real quick.
Some good stuff I saw out there, people are under estimating the impact Javale is going to have, he was active both offensively and defensively and that is one thing LBJ loves to see. If he continues to hustle, James will be a concentrated effort of finding him on the offensive end.
Rondo is going to fit in seamlessly.
BI is going to have a monster season, he looked so appreciative to have James out there so he was free to roam. |

From what have seen so far agree with the assessments. It is obvious even to the layman. Hope Magic and Pelinski has same observations.
Of course, Lebron is the glue.
Will start with what needs to be adjusted.
Hart is better than KCP. Don't know what KCP brings if his shot is off.
McGee is the real deal. But Zubac is not NBA material for a big man. The Lakers need to get another backup big man FAST if McGee goes down it is CURTAINS. The inside game and rebounding needs bigger guys.
Player observations:
Ingram is all star material. When his shot is on he is. His shot was off but he still contributed. He is just going to get better.
Rondo is real deal.
Beasley is off and on.
Kuzma is good but can play out of control.
Svi is a spot up shooter at this stage.
The team needs to learn to play together. It was very obvious from the first game. Denver knows how to play together.
Another skilled big man would fill the hole. |

Few things that stood out:
-Not worried (yet) about the defense. Same thing happened last preseason.
-3rd Quarter run was nice to see; even if the last minute Denver took back and extended the lead.
-Zubac...dude is starting to run out of time.
Hopefully, the shooting is better on Tuesday. |

Offense looked ok, defense was poor and rebounding sucked. Good thing it is only preseason, lots of time to get comfortable with each other. _________________ RIP mom. 11-21-1933 to 6-14-2023. |

Can anyone recap what MJ said on Spectrum during the third? I am not in LA so I watched on ESPN and there are no online videos of it. |
