3pt shooting is going to be a real concern this year

Man you guys overreact to everything.

I think it’s a valid concert. We all know there was no shooters signed and we were not a good 3pt shooting team last season. I’m sure I can assume all the top teams are among the top in 3pt shooting as well.

It’s the 1st pre season game man.. of course it’s always frustrating when the team loses..

Indeed it is first preseason game, which is why I’m not worried about this loss or the lack of chemistry. I’m worried about lack of 3pt shooters.

Moments like this make me wish Training Camps were longer than three minutes. Really works in the favor of established teams. But oh well, we shall rise above...

I would be surprised....but not absolutely shocked if they gave Williams the 15th spot....just as a big body for insurance

I'd guess they'd hold it open for the trade deadline

Only thing I was concerned watching that was we're thin at the C position, McGee looked good, Zu less so.

Cant we just sign a guy and waive him before the trade deadline for an open spot? Like to just have another big body out there for Mo to recover and get up to speed.

It's LeBron's team now

BI's looking like he might eventually become a very good #2 though

Mcgee looks a lot better than he looked in GSW, but with a limited skill set (and spotty brain power), he's a #3 at best.
that doesn't mean he won't put up a lot of points with LBJ, Rondo, Zo, BI feeding him - but he's a #3 or #4 at best

you can...but you have to pay his contract for the rest of the year
but, it's not like that's a big deal for the 15th man spot - half of his salary is pocket change, after all

The second unit's ball movement is gonna look so much better with either Rondo or Lonzo

Both looked really good to me! Ingram still seems shy on the 3 ball, have to change that.

Kuzma came out initially seemed to be trying to hard to prove himself but looked good as time went on.

KCP has to be the 40% 3pt shooter that he was last season or the 2nd half of last season..

Overall team looked really good when the tempo increased. Rebounding will be crucial and I believe will have to be a team effort.

Was switching back and forth between SNF and this game but I didn’t see us able to get Svi a single wide open look.

Yup. It looked like straight (bleep) without them.

Felt like I was watching the Cavs when lbj sat...

It's only first preseason but here's what I noticed:

Pros:
-rondo directing people
-mcgee definitely gives us a spark out there
-lebron . Enough said
-ingram looks to be ready to hit another gear

Cons:
-having to remind myself it's on meaningless game
-stevenson equals ball stop and way too much mustard on the ball
-zubac looks lost again
-beasley ball stopped
-lineups
-we traded 2s for 3s
- we needed a PG floor general when rondo sat (ball)
- we lost.

Magee 17/7 in 20 minutes

Missed part of the 2nd half. Did he looked winded at all?

Too bad Moe is hurt.

Wagner is probably going to get minutes unless Zubac steps up and not every team is going to have bigs like the ones Denver has, so that should help whoever we use as the our small ball center.
