Luke mentioned changes to the starting lineup coming.
What should he do? What is he likely going to do

I say hart is out the SL

Lonzo
KCP
BI
Kuz
Mcgee

I would take Kuz out, and once LB comes back it should be

Lonzo
KCP
BI
Lebron
Mcgee

Bench
Svi
Hart
Kuz
Beasley
Zu

Because our D has sucked anyway I might go for

PG - Ball
SG - KCP
SF - Svi
PF - Kuzma
C - Zu

Give Ball some non ball dominant offensive weapons and lets see what he can do

Rotation patterns are dumbfounding....and this team needs scoring, so:

Hart has been stone cold with Lebron out ---> bench
McGee ineffective the last few games --->bench

Beasley is a scorer, and he's showing---> more minutes, please
Zu also can score, and right now is playing better than McGee --->more minutes too

Please, no more small ball with Hart and Stephenson

Please, try BI at SG, KUZ at SF and Beasley at 4, and you'll get more rebounds and scoring....

Ingram at 2 is Key

Top 3 Defense with Ingram at 2

He smothers other teams 2’s

McCollum
Klay
Etc

I would even bench Lonzo for KCP at the 1

Very short leash with Lonzo

You give up a 5 point lead or start laying bricks (anywhere. Free throw line/ 3 point line, point blank)

Pull him

Put KCP at 1

Let KUZ and Beasley take care of the scoring on the first unit. KUZ played well at the SF spot last year.
PG - ZO
SG - KCP
SF - KUZ
PF - Beasley
C - McGee

Let BI and Hart lead the second unit:
BI
Hart
Stephenson
Zu/Chandler

Start Beasley and KCP over Hart and Kuzma. Or at least finish that way.

Starters:

Lonzo Ball
KCP
Brandon Ingram
Michael Beasley
JaVale McGee

Bench:
Alex Caruso or Isaac Bonga (we NEED an actual point guard with our bench rn)
Josh Hart
Svi / Stephenson
Kyle Kuzma / Moritz Wagner
Ivica Zubac

Chandler inactive and Stephenson not playing the next few games unless emergency while this gets tested out.

I can see why OP would say that... Because I think most of us would agree that KCP should start over Hart. And if McGee is playing unwise, I could understand putting in Zubac for him....

Lonzo . Lance
KCP . Hart
BI . Svi
Kuzma . Beasley
Zubac . McGee/Chandler

That 2nd unit might be the dumbest group of players we have. Which I get why he would put BI in there to help settle things down.

Another option like Mjst suggested was to replace KCP and Kuz with Hart and Beasley. And I understand why. But I believe Beasley is worse than Kuzma on defense. And that's saying a lot!

The only for sure lineup change I would make would be KCP for Hart. The rest are debatable.

Shelve McGee for Zu or Chandler.

Give Mo some run. If he proves he can shoot you keep him in the rotation. It's the putrid offense that's killing this team.

We need more catch and shoot players around Lonzo.

My lineup

Zo, Svi, Kcp, Kuz, Mcgee

or

Zo, Kcp, Kuz, Beas, Mcgee

Lonzo / Pope
Kcp / Hart
Ingram / Lance
Kuzma / Beas
Chandler / McGee-Zub

And I have a feeling this will be our line up for the playoffs:

Rondo / Zo
KCP / Hart
Lebron / Ingram
kuzma / Beas
Chandler / McGee

Does it matter?

A lineup change should have been done games ago.

We haven't had a first quarter lead since December 30th 2018, literally last year.

At this point, he's making a change due to desperation and hoping (bleep) sticks and not because he noticed a trend.

Outside of Lebron, I don't think we have an above-average NBA starter. So there isn't an obvious solution. It's really just a matter of throwing different combinations, and hoping magically something clicks. But it's hard to get excited about any of the combinations because there is no logical reason to think they'll work better than the guys they're replacing.

Jhart has to be benched. He has been awful for awhile now. Every time he touches the ball he shoots. It is beyond annoying. Let Kcp start. Javale hasn't been the same since he's been back. We need some consistent offense in the starting lineup. I would put Zu out there. Id also add Mo to the rotation backing up Kuz. Have Beaz backup the 3. Our rebounding has been tragic. No rebounds no fast break. We have to get back to playing our style. Maybe it's good time to actually run some damn plays. The half court offense is pathetic. Is Luke signature timeout play the Zo alley oop? come on already.
