Unusual foul trouble with Tacko cost UCF the game.....if Tacko is not out with foul trouble for much of the game, UCF wins with breathing room.

If he’s Randle then he’s the super version of Randle.

Hope we can acquire a late second round pick.

I like Aubrey Dawkins as a back up shooting guard.

I was actually rereading the first few pages of this thread, and back then there was still a ton of uncertainty about Zion, him being a top 5 pick wasn't certain and a decent amount of doubters. Its amazing how good he has been this season

Rich man's Julius Randle gets thrown around a lot and I really like it even if he is 2 inches shorter than Randle

I really thought Dawkins played well. I have never seen him play before he looked good out there.

Zion carries Duke on his back to a victory they didn't deserve.

I bet his coach (dad) was very proud of him.

unless you trust Zion to shoot like he did today....which history suggests he will not....I do not think this was a great game for Zion as the clear cut #1 prospect for the NBA. I think the only shot he got at the rim while Fall was on the court was the final bucket he scored when Tacko fouled him.

The other team missed a wide open dunk and gave up a three in addition to those layups to close the game, sp eh.

he is older....a rare 5th year junior....but he has been very good this year. He went to Michigan, then transferred to UCF after his Sophomore season when his dad was hired at UCF....had to set out a year (red shirt)....then blew out his knee before the next season (medical red shirt)....then this was his official junior season. Not sure if he returns to UCF....but at his age, I would think he should declare.

Geez. I really thought I wouldn't have to be invested in the draft this year.
But alas, our pathetic season now makes me have to.
Let's do it, mock drafts!

That last layup was owing to a push in the back future ratings no call off the Zion FT brick. But, yeah, that other guy should have kept within himself and put the ball in. Chalk it up to another lesson in how emotion sometimes gets you.

I still have major doubts that Zion can develop into a #1 option. If the Lakers get the #1 pick, they should trade it for AD.

This year's tourney is the silver lining to an otherwise (bleep) season, because that lottery pick (whether we move up or not) is looking noice...

AD scored 6 points against Kansas.

He won outstanding player of the tournament... but we won't know what to say about Zion until the tournament is over.

Plus he hurt his leg and was adjusting to Tacko.

There are seriously fans who would trade Zion for AD?

I know, right? But watching these games knowing we're gonna get another good prospect from this bunch (assuming our scouting department is allowed to make the pick) is a nice distraction from watching the Lakers on-court product and off-court melodrama right now. It takes me back to 2014-2017, as long as you try hard not to think of all the different ways Magic is gonna ruin this opportunity.

idk why but id love to draft Bol Bol. a 7'2 big who can block shots and hit 3s. Hes super risky but he would be fun to watch as a Laker. But i think we go SG and Okapala, K. Jognson, Hunter, Culver should be there and ill be ok with either.

This isn't based on production. It is based on skill set and size.

But he scored 32 and the winning basket with a bad leg.

I get what you mean about undersized... but it's not like AD has ever won anything.
