KL wants to be the man?
Butler wants to be the man?
Nope. No way they're playing together. _________________ From 2-10 to the Western Conference Finals |

Kawhi I can see going to the clippers because he wants to be the man.
Butler, on the other hand wants to win. My guess is teaming up with Lebron James makes it easier for him to win, even if the Clippers get Kawhi. With all due respect to Kawhi, Lebron is simply the better player.
ETA: Got to wait till the regular season to start but Ingram has been impressing me in pre-season. If his trajectory continues, this could be his break out year and that would give us our 3rd star in addition to Lebron + 2nd max FA |
Butler wants to get paid, winning is not top priority |
Wouldn't butler get paid the same regardless? The max is the max whether it comes from the lakers or the clippers. All things being equal, I think he would go for the better winning situation. |

Just a question for the board.
With the recent passing of Paul Allen, does anyone see Portland breaking up its very expensive team.
In particular does anyone see Lillard becoming available.
Portland is a small market, and Jody (PA's sister) does not want the sports franchises, so Portland is likely to be sold. |

Lillard becoming available will depend on what kind of start they have to do the season. |

That would work well for us. We can't trade our 1 year deal guys till Dec 15th anyways and we probably need them to match salary. |

He certainly is building a rep; makes Rondo rep look like nothing.
My biggest concern with the guy is that mileage. No way am I giving him 5 year max; sucks for the team that gets desperate and does it... |

Maybe he wanted to join the Thunder but felt bad about not keeping his promise of coming here when he is a FA. |

Tell that to woj he kept saying to us that Paul George made a promise to join the Lakers when he was traded from the Pacers. |

Everything now seems to be pointing to Durant or trading for Davis.
Doesn’t seem like Leonard is going to be the one that comes over. _________________ |

That's ok. I'd prefer to add an elite big and defensive anchor next to Bron, as opposed to another wing. Specifically I also like AD more than KL, not by much. |

The more this keeps going on I'm starting to push for Klay. He may be the only one who would want to play with Lebron honestly. |

If you're the Pels, would you honestly take that over what the Celts can offer in 2019-20? Nope. _________________ From 2-10 to the Western Conference Finals |

What will they offer? No Tatum. Kyrie can't be traded as he's FA. I don't think Lakers will offer all three either. Will have to give up Ingram though. _________________ Showtime 2.0 |
