Except Crowder called out Lebron for padding his stats. Things didn’t go particularly well for him in CLE. |

It's been like three years since Crowder was a plus player. |

Let bygones be bygones unless of course if Lebron is insecure and vindictive . |

So NBA reddit believes Memphis is looking to engage in salary dumping with other teams. There's a possibility Iggy gets traded then gets waived.
So still best to sit and wait for the time being. |

What’s the news?
Is it legit news or IG trade-on-the-horizon type news? Haha |

I think Memphis is just grandstanding to try to get something. Ofcourse they are not going to leak out that they plan to buy him out or that kills their leverage.
But with that said I think everyone is overhyping what Iggy can bring to the table. He seemed to have slowed down big time last season and who knows what he is going to look like after going into hiding for like 8 months. _________________ (bleep) Kawhi |

"Think the reason they are willing to take on salary beyond this season is because they know that's probably the only way they can get a 1st back for him"
"Exactly, which allows Iggy to get bought out by the team he gets traded to. It's essentially one additional step to his buyout. Memphis is advertising themselves as a cap dump team with Iggy as the salary filler. It's what the Nets did when they didn't have any picks."

No targeting Crowder until Iggy is officially off the table |

I could see Dallas trade for Kevin Love and Andre Iguodala only sending out peanuts like Hardaway Jr., Lee, etc. |

Cleveland cares. They're not going to trade Love away for (LOL) Hardaway and Lee, and the Mavs don't have any first round picks before 2025. |

If the Lakers got Thanos, I think we could consider the playoffs a wrap. |

Clear Love’s contract off the books.
Lee is expiring this season ($13M)
Hardaway is had player option for next season ($19M / $19M)
Love had 3 more years on his deal ($29M / $31M / $31M / $29M) |

A number of teams can easily offer the same deal with Cleveland and offer a better package. Maybe picks.
Toronto can offer Gasol, Portland has 2 garbage players on large expiring deals also. The Suns can offer a package.
If you're looking at garbage contracts to take on an expiring deal, a number of teams could and would do that.
And that's not getting into the issue that Love could sabotage their team right when Doncic is coming into his prime. Love has an injury history. Portland's much more desperate. |

I’m not saying Dallas is the best or only option for Cleveland. The reason why Cleveland might do a deal for 2 nobodies is to move Love’s contract.
You asked whats in it for Cleveland but I think its the other way around. Whats in it for Dallas? |

You mean going down by more than 40 against the Bucks and not looking like being able to contain their best player at all?
Cause for concern.
The Clippers D had people in the media asking "how would you score on them". Apparently Giannis finds it really easy. In comparison our defense had people saying "Danny's our only perimeter defender" so ours is underrated. |
We got totally outplayed by a far lesser team at home (the Mavs). Did that sum up all our weaknesses or was that just one of those games? And we haven't played the Bucks yet, so maybe we shouldn't rush to judgement on how easily containable they should be. |
Possibly. In the first game against the Mavs our point of attack defender was Bradley, we missed him in the second game. It may point to how valuable AB is.
The Clippers have no rim protection to protect against Giannis and nobody who can contain Giannis one on one. We have great rim protection and AD. We match up against the Bucks better but we'll see |
It took a blown foul call and OT to beat the Mavs that game _________________ RIP mom. 11-21-1933 to 6-14-2023. |

There are many blown foul calls in games. There are many fouls on Lebron not called. The result is the result, as the Rockets recently found out there are no excuses.
Lakers beat the Mavs. |

I think Cleveland would rather have a watchable veteran with a connection to their title than just trade him for expirings. Otherwise they would have just not resigned him. They at least want some actual assets for him. |
