I assume the 3rd player you’re referring to is Danny Green. That is a pretty good set of players to build from but you’re right, they will need some other guys to step up big time if we’re gonna find the consistency necessary to take home the trophy this season. |
Yes, Green is easily the third best player on the team. |
My view is we have Lebron and AD and then everyone else. We don't have a "big three" or anything like that. Right now, arbitrarily picking Green or Kuz or whoever as the #3 guy is pretty meaningless. All we need is for the team to come together and do their jobs to support Lebron/AD. |
Right, Green is a role-player, he's not part of a "big three" or anything. But he's the only significant net positive player on the roster outside of Lebron and AD (and an injured Cousins). _________________ Under New Management |

Right, you're not an RPM guy. |
rpm for me stands for - hit 37%, average 17, and play average defense... and you have a better rpm than Danneh Green |
Even if your team is magically worse with you on the floor than when Danny Green is on the floor (when adjusted for competition). _________________ Under New Management |

Lakers completed workouts and meetings with Dwight Howard and Joakim Noah on Thursday and have Mo Speights at the team’s facility today, league sources tell ESPN. Both Howard and Noah left impressions that they could be helpful to the team. |

Agreed, and in Kuz's favor is that Green is almost 10 years older and wasn't even in the NBA at Kuz's age. _________________ Under New Management |

Net positive players on the roster (healthy):
Lebron
AD
Green
Potential small net positive players on the roster:
McGee
Caruso
Dudley
Likely small net negative players on the roster:
Kuzma
KCP
Likely net negative players on the roster:
Bradley
Cook
Daniels
Rondo
THT
So my 9-man rotation is the top eight players on this list and whoever is better on any given night between Bradley and Cook. Noah and Iguodala would both easily fall into the small net positive category. _________________ Under New Management

I wish THT was good already. like if he was year 3 THT, after some mentoring from MWP defensively. I'd be interested in him matching up against one of the Clipper wings. After seeing clips of Bradley giving George problems, at 6'2 and not long.. THT with SF length and 6'4... maybe he could do solidly on George |

I'd start KCP/Green/Lebron/AD/McGee with Friar Tuck/Bradley/Kuzma/Dudley/(hopefully) Noah as my second unit and close games with Caruso/Green/Lebron/Kuz or Dudley/AD. _________________ Under New Management |

Same, but hopefully we'll get to see THT doing his Ron Artest impression in a few years alongside AD and Giannis. _________________ Under New Management |

Danny Green's career trajectory is why I still have my eyes on JP Tokoto. _________________ Under New Management |

McGee (20) | Noah (12) | Davis (16)
Davis (16) | Kuzma (32)
That's how I see the rotations going with Noah |

Jav played 22mpg last year.
Noah played 16.5mpg last year.
That means AD can play small ball center for about 8 minutes per game (4 mpg at the end of each half). _________________ From 2-10 to the Western Conference Finals |

If you want 3pt shooting and winning experience you go with Mo Speights
If you want fit and intangibles + passing you go with Noah
If you want a star name who can potentially make a big Impact if he’s ready to help then you go with Dwight...
All 3 options gives us a new dimension and value either way whoever we get is gonna help us so don’t get upset if we don’t get 1 or the other. |

You didn't know it because it's a random and false statement. We just didn't hear about him because, unlike Kuz, Green didn't get any minutes until Pop got a hold of him. But they were both 22 yr old rookies with birth dates in June and July. By his 3rd year, the over 40% three pt shooting guy started to emerge. |

Noah played 16.5 mpg for half a season. And I am too lazy to look but I think we only get around a half season from McGee as well. _________________ RIP mom. 11-21-1933 to 6-14-2023. |
