Washington would hang up the phone on that.

Bradley - 30/6/4 on 35% 3PT shooting (8.4 per game). Thats MVP numbers. Hield, late picks, trash and THT? LOL.

Speaking of unfair deal, hold my beers Sactown said.

I've been suggesting that this (by a very longshot) might be a possibility. The allure of being an LA Laker, playing with LBJ and AD, tight knit squad, playing on the same team....

MLE split between the Morris brothers, BAE to Dwight, vet min to Boogie,
S+T KCP, Kuz and McGee for another impact player. Re-sign Rondo

Bradley, Rondo, _______
Green, Caruso, THT
LBJ, Marcus, ________
AD, Kieff, Dudley
D39, Boogie

Would be great to have Marcus in a Lakers uniform next season.

Possibly the person who proposed that was drunk?

It depends on the contract amounts we re-sign those players for. If it keeps us $10 mil from the hard cap, then we would have the MLE to use.

Word.

But I admit they make me giggle like a little schoolgirl when I read them so I am entertained.

He is a free agent after 2022 season when all we have on the books will be AD. Maybe he comes to LA to win a chip with AD then. 😂

Main problem is Lakers aren’t giving out multi year deals and we don’t have money to give big 1 yr overpayments.

If we don’t get Chris Paul then I want us to keep Dwight,Rondo, and KCP on reasonable one to two year deals and trade Green, Kuzma, and #28 for a good wing. I think we lose Morris.

Give up on 2021 and get everyone off the books for 2022 so we can swing for fences to get Beal.

I think we could have a great chance at Beal too, especially if we make it clear he's the guy we want because there's only going to realistically be a few teams that both have the cap space and are a desirable locations.

As of right now that 2022 class is deeeeeeep, i'm sure some players will re-sign before then but regardless there is going to be some major shifting throughout the NBA after that off season.

Not to mention this gives AD the chance to recruit the guys he wants which should greatly increase his chances of signing that hopefully massive contract as well to keep him a Laker for a very long time. Whoever comes will be joining the best big in the NBA right in the middle of his prime so it's not like it's going to be some hard sell.

It will be interesting how Rob and the Lakers maneuver there way through the next 2 seasons because there's a lot of different routes they can take.

I would be surprised if Danny Green is traded. The Lakers aren't likely to move that $15M contract. They are gonna have to sweeten the pot to move him. Good luck. I expect him back next year.

Orlando might be a decent trading partner.

They have Even Fournier who will likely opt in to his $17.5mm deal.

Lakers Kuz + Green + 28th for Fournier + 15th overall pick?

So The lakers get the best player in the trade and also move up 13 spots in the draft. Delusional.

Depends what teams are looking for. Magic get the rights to Kuz if they like him.

No team is accepting that trade.

Magic likes players who are athletic and can't shoot like Gordon/Isaac/their last year lotto pick

Kuzma is anti that...so no

What? Kuzma IS that. Its a bad trade for Orlando and that alone is the reason why it wouldnt happen.

I doubt it. They gave up money to play together once, and then one of them quickly got traded. Doubt they'll make that mistake again.

Doesn't matter. They've been around the league long enough now to know that the money is the only thing that's guaranteed. I doubt they'll sacrifice a lot of money to play together.

Besides, there's no guarantee Kieff himself is coming back.

Yes. Here’s my scouting report. Anyone who becomes a Laker automatically starts out shooting 25% from 3. Then we trade their ass or they stay and get bullied on the internet. When they eventually move on, they shoot around 42% again. Talentless NBA Blog Boys will tell us how stupid we are. The Lakers front office will take heat from the media.

That’s my scouting report.

People say this all the time. In reality, 7 of the top 10 best 3-point shooters in Lakers history were guys we traded for.
