I don't like the shot selection and reliance on foul calls.

I don’t think we will make changes unless we have a disappointing playoffs and in that situation yeah I could see Dinwiddie being in play.

That's a James Harden calling card.

He's better at it and I hate watching that style of hoop.

Now imagine Spencer.

Slim chance but guys I'd love to see with the MLE:

Paul Millsap
Aron Baynes (prob gets 10-15)
Marc Gasol
Malik Beasley (prob 10-18)
Dario Saric (15-20), unsure if PHX pays offer sheet

Prospects:
Sterling Brown
John Konchar

Wesley Matthews
Mo Harkless

With the Dinwiddie talk, is the 2021 dream dead? because we would have to take on a contract that would ruin the cap space dream.

Big fan of Millsap Mike, I have wanted him on the Lakers since his Utah Jazz days, would be awesome if we can get him for the mid level exception.

Both Millsap and Gasol are 35 at that point. May be possible.

We do.

they are out of the price range, hence listing Brown, Hawkless

If Jalen Rose ends up being right we could have a chance to pair AD with Mitchell which would be pretty awesome although not sure how that’s possible especially with the Giannis dream.

utah controls his rights so he is not going anywhere. remember hayward?

People often forgets about all the RFA going in sign and trade situations last year. Donovan have had some drama issues with Gobbert this year, so there is always a posibility.

Sign & Trade

DMitchell for DGreen

I don’t see Mitchell taking less.

I would think Wiz want more than that. Especially b/c Spence could opt out this summer.

We may have a bunch of expiring deals if guys like KCP/Jav/Bradley opt in, plus Danny Green, and a 1st. It may not be great but if Spence is indicating that he will opt in 2021 and wants to head this direction, who knows.

A 2027 1st? Or their 2020 1st at #29 in a weak draft?

The Lakers still don't have any assets to package with expiring salary unless a team loves Kuzma/Caruso/THT.

2024 Plan = Devin Booker.

And he'll only be 26 at that time. Wished we had traded down and drafted Devin Booker, what a steal. Kid is unconscious! Didn't matter if he was being guarded by Kawhi or PG, he roasted them last night and hit a game winner against both. He has that Kobe no fear going for him.

heck i would ask spencer + bonga for 2020 1st and expirer

Granted, this is only if Spence wants out which I'm not even sure about since he helped orchestrate the KD/Irving thing. But those two are also pretty mercurial teammates so who knows.

But yes, I do think even a weak 2020 1st plus say Green would work.

Yes, and that's why it won't happen. Dinwiddie has turned out to be a better player than I thought, but he's still sub-all star. You don't blow your long term plans for that.

He'd be in a different uniform regardless.

I could see the Suns drop a 1st in a heartbeat for Dinwiddie.
