On offense he's going to be good.

Defensively? Whoa.

I think he can be serviceable on defense when motivated.

Plus you're not gonna find a Beasly with better defense for that price tag.

I'm sure there's been worse elsewhere.

People mature as they get older.

McGee, Stephenson & Beasley have been pretty level headed the last few years.

Didn’t Beasley play with LeBron in Miami? I think he may have wanted him.

My only major concern is the whole Lavar/Rondo situation. Rondo was a professional and said all the right things, but once Lavar opens his mouth we will see how long that lasts.

I believe they got rid for a 2nd rounder to sign Bosh and LBJ

The Lakers watch him run full court in LA every off season. Might as well bring him in.

Offensively Beasley is a very good player. Terrible on defense though.

Beasley was a god awful defender last season, but he still grades out really well on offense in our competency based evaluation model:

Overall Offense: A
Perimeter Shooting: B
Slashing & Ball-Handling: A-
Playmaking: B+

I love it I love it I love it.

Did I mention I love it?

13 points on 50% shooting and 40% from 3...this guy is EXACTLY the spot up scorer that we need.

LeBron is going to have a field day with the team we've constructed around him.

WHAT??!?

Uh, Welcome to the Lakers Beaz.

Guess that's 15 players. 10 of them can play small forward.

They might just hire someone to keep Lavar away from social media.

Guys this is for the 12th player role. I think at this price he knows he's not getting much PT (and if he starts being a problem we can cut him). This signing is not going to matter either way.

I actually think he's going to get playing time. He can score for sure and has really refined his offensive game.

Nobody is guaranteed any minutes right now. You have to fight for it.

Modern NBA, where a talented big man like Clint Capela can't even get an offer sheet. 10-15 years ago Clint would have been one of the top FA's this summer...but the league has changed, at least for now, and is a small ball type affair.

Granted it would be nice to have some bigs (other than McGee).

Positionless basketball seems to be the objective of Luke and this roster. Gritty hard nosed players with a chip on their shoulders that can play all over the court.
