If by "enough", the OP meant to ask "enough (3 pt accuracy) to reach the Finals", the answer is resoundingly a "Gawd No." That area of play appears to be brought forward from last season as a continuing weakness.

I doubt that the addition of shooting stats from Rondo, Lance, Beasley and LeBron make a season-to-season improvement for the team. Rondo and LeBron will put the ball into other guys' hands in their preferred spots, but the shots have to fall. Do we have those types of shooters. Not so much.

There's a lot of room for improvement from Lonzo and Caruso.

Few rookies find much success in carrying forth their college three point conversion rate in their pro year one. I take Svi and Bonga and Wagner right off the table in terms of expecting improvements in the team's three point make rate from their work.

I'm going to hope that Kooz judiciously shoots from downtown all year. Love to see him get his work into the .380 make rate or above.

3pt percentages from college/HS do not translate to the NBA, rarely ever has. First, the NBA 3 is a couple feet further (I think this is overlooked by those who think Lonzo will become as good as in college). Secondly, it's very common for a great college player to suck in the NBA, it happens all the time, we are all used to it!

THe Lonzo/Kidd comparison is the closest, even though i believe Kidd wasn't this bad. For me, there is ZERO hope that lonzo becomes an elite shooter or ft shooter in any sense. Not in less than 5 years, if that. We will be lucky if he gets to a Bruce Bowen level where he can be relied upon to shoot the shortest 3 if wide open. Even for LBJ, it took MANY years for him to go from "ah, we'll just let him shoot anything outside 15 feet", to needing to guard him at the arc. And LBJ didn't start off close to as bad as Lonzo.

Gawd no is right. We need at least ONE, just one, guy that can be feared at the 3pt line. The only ones proven currently are KCP and Beasly in my opinion. This is the proving year for Hart and Kuz, or Svi...the fanbase is hoping they become great. Well, just do it. Has anyone even hit 3 shots in a row yet?

This game we don’t have any 3 point shooters. Hopefully that changes.

I look at tonight's game and I don't even think this is an anomaly. It might get worse than tonight. Jesus....

Magic and Rob's idea of grinding out games while simultaneously playing at a league-leading pace with no shooting in 2018 is a fireable offense. Luckily for them, Lebron signed.

Was remembering this thread throughout the game as we built a brick house from outside. We really did a bad job assembling talent around Bron.

Lakers were 7-17 from downtown in the 2nd half. I wonder how much of their 0-13 3 point shooting in the first half was nerves.

It also seems like they're decent at hitting 3s off ball movement/penetration as opposed to just jacking them up off the dribble.

We're gonna be talking about this all season. We won't win a title without shooters. But maybe we don't care...

I don't think any of us are psychic but it's painfully obvious to everyone besides the Lakers what the team's shortcomings are:

1. Three point shooting
2. Closing out on shooters, especially at the 3pt line
3. Rebounding/boxing out
4. Luke's stunted rotations
