That doesn't sound right at all. Bill Walton, for one, but I'm sure others. Maybe there's something missing from that stat.

Very good pick. Exactly the same mold of the Lakers last two late first rounders (Kuzma and Nance Jr).

1- Older and more polished
2- Come in with NBA translatable skill(s)
3- Big time competitive spirit

= Mo Wagner this year

He'll contribute because he's already ready to play in the NBA.

If he were a 1 and done, he's a top 15-20 pick imo. Gets discounted due to his age and perceived lower ceiling.

More like a role player in the d league. Not impressed one bit.

Lakers consider Wagner to be a high-IQ player who can shoot, handle and pass. He interviewed really well with them at the draft combine and should be a dynamic presence in the locker room. Also, he measured 6 feet and 11.5 inches in shoes at the combine.

He will kill it on the pick and pop, for sure, and spotting up, especially in the corners. Question will be defensively.

Certainly got showcased and stepped up big in the tourney (killed it at times really and kind of fun to watch). For some reason, only guy I decided to watch more film on last night prior to the draft.

Watched Utah vs Michigan last year to see Kuzma. Wagner was impressive showing confidence to score in a variety of ways. Best player of his team, outperforming Wilson.

There are plenty of Michigan games on YouTube. Will watch them.
