The problem all year has been low energy; we'll see occasional sparks when Lance gets hot or if they're playing a hated opponent like Harden, but if you have someone intense like Draymond, Patrick Beverly, or Wagner in the game, that'll do wonders with raising the energy and effort of the entire team the entire season.

Can Moe actually play? Always pegged him as the Sasha Vujecic of big men. Lots of energy, not much getting done.

(But then he hits 2 clutch ft's in the finals against the Celtics)

Never mind, I've always liked Moe Wagner.

BI has been the bright spot this season, I have hopes he comes back even stronger next season.

Wagner for me is the other bright spot, it's what I look forward to most the rest of the season, I hope to see him get 30+ minutes a game and give us 15+ points, and give us all those intangibles, things that do not show up on the stat sheet, plus positivity, high energy and passion....

When Kuzma comes back you know Luke is gonna bench Wagner. Don’t get your hopes up too high

When Kuz comes back I think Wagner should still get 25+ minutes off of the bench.Maybe not 34 as a starter, but he should get all the time he can now, get that experience and confidence up even more so. I think he can be a top 8 player, a real part of the hub for this team next year...

A top 8 player?? Like in the entire league?? Or are we just talking top 8 in an active roster of 12?

Top 8 of the bottom 7.

Top 8 of the bottom 7.

So, at least as good as the 13th player.

I enjoy watching this kid. Plays hard. A shame we will be trading him if he keeps playing so well.

I do, too. I want to see him w/ J. Williams at Center. He has some chemistry with him.

Sadly, Mo is one of the two things of consequence left to watch. Hopefully he shows enough to be a rotation guy next season.

Mo should be getting good minutes @ PF, he’s not a C.

He needs to be developed as a 5. His quickness and shooting will be much more effective against 5s than 4s.

He’s too slow to be a modern 4 though. Lebron is a modern 4.

So Luke and coaching staff don't get credit for development of Mo & other players. Do we take it for granted how his players, at least one's acquired & developing in his system, hustle and play hard. They love playing for him & work their butts off for his team.

We have seen this scenario of one young player exceeding expectations, time after time under Luke. Not that's happened prior to his arrival, or that's what's seen on average in NBA, and we take it for granted that Lakers will continue this trend without him.

how about not playing wagner all year ? walton needs to go asap....the rest i have no idea what you talking about, who exceeded expectatios under luke walton ?
how about mo was hurt a lot this season. but i still dont think luke would've played him as much as we wanted him to and that has something to do with politics of the game as well as him in practice probably not playing as smart as other guys. You have to imagine some guys that are good game time players but suspect practice players could easily run into getting time type of issues from their coach because there's no way to gauge if they should be in the real game since in practice they miss their spots, they miss their assignments, they dont make the correct pass, bad offensive rotations, bad defensive rotations, etc.

He has the tools to be a chandler/DJ defensive anchor for years to come
