I admit, my first thought was that you had started it.

Neither can shoot, both are good defenders.

Ball better passer, hasn’t had a chance to develop his game over several years in the league

Smart is just about at his Ceiling, wants 14+ million dollars a year but does have a lot more “dog” in him.

Lonzo still needs to develop and is much cheaper, also a much better pure point guard. Smart is not a starter in this league, he’s a really nice defensive minded backup. Right now, you keep Ball and hope he becomes a better shooter than Smart. Would not trade and unless you are a Lonzo hater, there is no reason you would.

Ball >Smart but i wouldn't mind signing smart at a really good deal. Those guys would be the best defensive backcourt in the league

If it was me, I would probably talk about signing him to play with Ball in the back-court.

Yes, I would trade LiAngelo Ball for Marcus Smart. We'd have to wait until he signs that undrafted free agent contract first though.

LOL... This is funny! Not at all.
However I would trade him for a Top 3 Pic, preferably to the Hawks so we can take Trae Young, who IMO is much better as a Combo Guard and what we need for this Lakers team.

But I'm pretty sure Atlanta wouldn't do that!

NO, but I'd trade his shot release. I hope he spent the off season working on his shot.
