eh.

I love me a double double animal style at In N Out, but it’s by far the most overrated burger out there.

It's not the best burger on the planet, but at its price point, there is simply no competition. Whataburger and Five Guys don't have anything close.

I prefer In 'N Out to $20 restaurant burgers.

Restaurant burgers are the worst.

I prefer the Habit over them all

Having grown up in LA, I never ate/heard of the Habit.

Having moved out here in the East, I encountered my first one a year ago. I like it. It's a sensible no frill burger. Obviously no In n Out here but the Habit is a good habit for me to have.

It's sort of reassuring to see that McDonalds ranked last.

I've never been to a Five Guys. I had a long running race discrimination suit against them, and I feel weird going to a place that I am suing. We got the case settled last year, so maybe I'll finally check them out.

We have The Habit in LA now. I like it better than In n Out but it is pricier and a heavier meal. Their fries and onion rings are great.

Team Habit all the way. Rubio's fish tacos a distance second.

One place I've heard of in hushed tones, but never actually tried, is Father's Office. I fear it would be like entering a cult at this point.

Honorable mention (sadly, they're losing traction), is Tito's Tacos also in Culver City.

Sometimes, but I've never seen a fast food place that had a good bleu cheese burger. Maybe you have one out on the left coast.

Finally got around to having my first Five Guys. Not bad, but not great and still a tick under In N Out in my book. Their fries were better than their burger.

The trick is to order the fries "well done". The secret menu is there for a reason.

Had Father's Office for the first time last month. It was good, nothing mind blowing though. Definitely worth checking out if you're in the area (the beer menu is great too).

Have you guys tried the Krispy Kreme burger at the OC Fair? Basically the krispy kreme donut replaces the bun. I havent tried it myself but was wondering how it tastes.

not a fan of most fast food chains.... I can probably count on one hand how many times I had a burger at Burger King, Mcdonalds, Carls Jr, and JacknBox combined in the last 2 years.

With that said a few of my go-to items:
In n Out: double double - grilled onion, no sauce
Popeyes: leg, thigh, biscuit, and cajun fries
Farmer Boys: Chicken Club or Bacon Breakfast Burrito with shredded cheese
Del Taco: $1 Java Iced coffee
Chick-fila - deluxe chicken sandwich or oreo milkshake

That Del Taco Ice Coffee tastes like water and sugar to me. Why do you like it?

That's interesting. Alot of African Americans work at the Five Guys nearby me in downtown. Where are you located?

Last saw a french fried mouse on Beavis & Butthead where they got a dead one from the dumpster area and fried it and sold it to Mr. Anderson (along with bugs from a flypaper strip). The details differ only slightly in this story. Does remind me of that clip of that worker at a steel mill committing suicide by jumping into the molten steel. This mouse had nothing left to live for.
