Now that the officials on the field and back in NY are clearly on the Cheatriots' side, there'e no reason for them to do anything except sit back and await the NFL to award them the trophy.

Boston sports fans are the most annoying fans in all of sports.

The Eagles beat the Pats last year after losing to them in the SB 13 years earlier.

Now 18 years later the Rams can avenge the Pats for the SB they lost... ?!

LA vs Boston is a bit old luckily the Lakers probably won't make the playoffs so there's not going to be an NBA version of it in the same season.

Same w/ Hockey.

It’s pretty cool to have LA vs Boston in 2 of the 3 major sports. 2of 4 major sports if you only consider areas where hockey is a priority.

The Kings are awful this year so you can just forget about them making the NHL playoffs. Lakers are injured and unless LBJ gets back soon they might be in danger of not making the playoffs as well. I just hope the Rams win it so all those sad bitter people that were rooting for the Saints just because they hate LA people will feel extra bitter and sad in 2 weeks...

"Beat LA" smh.
I always thought it was lame to have the OTHER teams name / city on a shirt or piece of clothing. Can't stand Boston teams OR their fans.

Celtics have not lived up to the hype this season (so far).

I was more pessimistic about playing the Saints on the road. I thought the Saints were the best team left in the playoffs. Even with the officiating I’m sure the Rams impressed people by winning in such a noisy, hostile environment after being down 13-0.

I wonder how the people in St. Louis feel about the Rams playing in the Super Bowl.

I think it's safe to say that the Rams aren't in the Super Bowl this year if Sam Ficken or Cairo Santos were their kicker. Justin Tucker and Greg The Leg have to be the two best kickers in football. They are legit weapons, and are examples of why you shouldn't go el cheapo at the kicker position if you have championship aspirations.

It's time to exact some revenge on the Pats. The Rams were all-in on a title this season. We're one win away from seeing the payoff.

Well, they certainly to have to win it this year because many of those guys who we signed for our defense won't be here next year.

Payback for the 2018 WS. Let's do this.

And I would imagine that the Rams will want to invest early round draft picks into the offensive line. Whitworth is a beast but he's 37 years old. They should be looking at a left tackle of the future. The center, Sullivan, will be 34 in August. Perhaps Joe Noteboom can be an option somewhere on the line in time, but I don't think he's an ideal left tackle prospect.

Along with the O-line, gotta think cornerback and linebacker will be draft priorities. And of course, they can try to address needs there through free agency, though they may be up against a bit of a tight salary cap. There's also the matter of Goff's looming extension in a couple of years.

Rams Say Todd Gurley Isn't Injured Despite Limited Touches vs. Saints

Gurley had only three carries for four yards through the first three quarters and was seen riding the stationary bike on the sideline in the fourth on Fox's broadcast. However, the Rams said there was nothing physically wrong with him, per Jeff Schultz of The Athletic.

Schultz added, "I'm finding that difficult to believe."

I am too.

If you watched Gurley when he said, "I was sorry. I was sorry as hell today. I was sorry. So, C.J. (Anderson) did his thing," you might not be too excited about seeing Gurley in the Superbowl. He just didn't seem right, and that can mean a lot of things.

To add to your post, Saffold is a free agent, so I do agree that the offensive line will need some replenishing, if not for next season, certainly the year after, so drafting one or two this year, to groom them, makes sense. With a lot of needs, I do think that the best man available approach makes the most sense for the Rams. With offensive linemen, so often the first rounders are duds, so unless there is the right guy at the right draft spot, then go for the best guy. They will likely also lose Joyner, so there is another hole.

If any team benefited from the refs this weekend it was the Rams. It’s all reddit and Twitter is talking about. Hell even the the Rams players are joking about the refs helping them

And had this gone against the Rams . . . there would be 7,000 posts whining about it -- likely including me.

The Cheatriots have benefited from the league and refs for the past 20 years. They cheat to gain an unfair advantage and one has to wonder how many times they haven't been caught.

Just like in basketball, the game is typically not won or lost on one play, was that lack of a call due to everyone complaining about Vicobitch?

Maybe...

Rams need to take care of business and SCORE more points than the Boston Bradies, then the Refs won't matter!

2010 Lakers vs Celtics NBA Finals
2018 Lakers vs Red Sox World Series
2018 Rams vs. Patriots Super bowl 53

crazy 8/9 year span if you ask me.
