Agree to disagree there, DMR. If a play like that decides a playoff game, I think it's preposterous that you can't go and look at a replay and see that something was against the rules, and make the proper call. I'd rather have the fallback of replay than not having it. I do think that a lot of the replay reviews were getting out of control with the overturned calls, which is why this year, you're seeing a lot more instances where New York is just staying with the call on the field unless it's blatantly obvious.

As to AH's post, Jeff Triplette (go ahead, skewer me since he was a terrible ref lol) was on the telecast and said it was a clear foul, and Wagner clearly uses his hands and places them on both of his teammates' backs, the guys to his left and right.

As I have said, I don't know if the NFL thinks that it just owes Seattle calls until the end of time, but they really do receive remarkably favorable calls. Over and over and over again. Do you know that their defense ranks 29th in yards allowed per play? It isn't even a good defense. It's not a good pass defense and it's not a good run defense. And yet, somehow, they don't allow many points. Wonder how that happens.

Not until the end of time. Just until 2030.

The NFL is basically a Live Fantasy League for Billionaires and Mega-Millionaires that the general public gets to watch and enjoy,; and when one of those rich guys get's screwed the way Paul Allen did in 2005, then the other rich guy feels bad and tries to make good. Hence the 25 years of favourable calls. Sure it's frustrating to fans, but this is the sandlot game of Billionaires, and ultimately, the frustration of those fans don't matter - and those fans prove they don't matter every year by still coming back year after year, and shoveling ever more money into the pockets of those Billionairs, so they can continue playing their live fantasy league that we all have proven we enjoy watching.

NFL Draft now scheduled for Nashville in 2019, Las Vegas in 2020, and it feels as if the NFL doesn’t care if the draft’s ever in NY City again.

3:55 PM - 12 Dec 2018

count me as one that thinks it should have continued to be held in NYC every year

Considering the NFL draft has become an event by itself, it probably makes sense for it to be held in different cities each year.

I think so, too. Chicago, Philly and Dallas have really turned out for the draft over the past 3 years. The atmosphere was fantastic.

Eagles fans can thank their front office for keeping Nick Foles as a backup. He is probably thankful for ending his career on the team which he won a Super Bowl.

Josh Johnson (AKA, Poor Mans Kaepernick) starting for the Redskins this week. If I were a Skins fan, I'd be furious. They were still in good position for the playoffs before last week, and instead of trying to make a serious run, they decided to hire one QB who is in the bottom 10th percentile of any QB to steal a paycheck in the NFL over the past decade, and another who hasn't tossed a pass in a regular season NFL game since 2011.

Highest paid backup QB in the NFL.

Yeah ball hit him in the helmet. After the play he was signaling as though he lost the ball in the lights.

Chiefs miss Hunt....and Hill is playing on a bad ankle. Ankle may get better, but not sure how far they go without Hunt.

Welp, at least Chief fans get a little practice for the inevitable playoff letdown. Chargers just never quit. Impressive comeback...

LA football teams have 5 losses between them. That’s amazing.

Mahomes is an exceptional talent....unfortunately, he's on the hard luck Chiefs so who knows how far they will go in the playoffs.

Looks like the Chiefs misread the play.
