Yeah, looks like they are gonna burn the clock and just do enough to win with a FG.

I think Brady will either slow walk this down to the 35 and kick the FG....or have to give it back to Mahomes, and he will win the game for KC.

He gave himself up and wasn't trying to advance.

I do not care who won the game.....but I do hate that Brady scored that rushing TD because the defensive guy was clearly fearful of getting a penalty.

they blew it immediately as if it was a kneel down...but he rushed to the left and went down which I thought required a defender to touch him or confirmation that forward progress has ceased....which usually takes a second or two before the whistle is blown.

In the long run it won't matter this Chiefs team is the equivalent of those Manning led Colts teams a decade earlier... I know how it ends...

Chiefs fans better prepare for the same ending.

What is it with the Chiefs? They started out 5-0 last year, Kareem Hunt fell off a cliff, and they lost their next 4 I think it was.

I know Mahomes would come back to earth, typical regression to mean and adjustment by league, but, they’re better than this.

I didn’t believe in them last year when they were 5-0. This year they have a much better qb. Did anyone think Alex Smith was going to play in a Super Bowl?

rumor is the Raiders are trying to move Karl Joseph....I would love to add him to this Buc's defense....we desperately need some toughness in the strong safety spot

They're got spanked Gruden's not the savior he was touted to be. Lynch has to be disappointed. I wouldn't be surprised to see him, once again, hang up his cleats.

Chucky's there for 10 years. They're going to tank and rebuild according to his specs.

Raiders are rebuilding so they can compete when they are in Vegas....Marshawn Lynch is wasting his time considering the Raiders aren't going to be good this year or next. They had a chance in 2016 but couldn't come thru with Carr getting injured just before the playoffs.

Another slap in the face to the city of Oakland.

I'm not surprised by the awful record of the Raiders....they traded the best player on their roster and that has got to be deflating for the locker room.Even the Raider fans in Oakland are wondering why they are paying good money to see a terrible team.

I was watching the 2nd half in a restaurant without the volume on, so I can't say when the whistle was actually blown. But it looked to me like Brady clearly went into a fetal-like position while going down and covering up the ball, not trying to advance it, and, like another person already said, he looked to me like he obviously gave himself up, and they'll blow the whistle when you do that. Especially when it's a QB. They just don't want anyone touching the QB.

And it definitely was obvious on Brady's earlier TD that the dude didn't want to blast him, there's no doubt about that.

With Patrick Peterson possibly on the trade block, if you believe the early morning Sunday reporting intel, it would behoove KC to try to acquire him. He would actually be an upgrade on Marcus Peters, their best CB from last season.

I give Raiders nation props. Except for 2016, they've been bad for a very long time but they stay loyal. I expect they'll be making those trips to LV just like they did whenever they played the Chargers in SD. I wonder how the local LV population will receive them in their current state and if the Raiders will try and make a big splash move like the Rams did trading up for the #1 pick before their inaugural season.

Latest rumor is they're looking to dump Amari Cooper now. Can't really say this one surprises me as he hasn't bounced back from last year's slump. I don't know what's up with him as I quit watching the Raiders last year. Carr, Mack, and Cooper were supposed to be the face of the resurgent Raiders just two years ago.

Buccaneers fire defensive coordinator Mike Smith

Quote:
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers fired defensive coordinator Mike Smith on Monday and promoted linebackers coach Mark Duffner to replace him.

The move comes a day a day after the team lost its third consecutive game, 34-29 to the Atlanta Falcons.

doubt it makes much of a difference....just window dressing and Koetter attempting to deflect blame.

The Jon Gruden experiment might work out as well as the Phil Jackson GM thing on the Knicks. Both guys used their leverage to maximize their earnings but they were past their primes and skills as a coach or GM. Building a team is a lot different than being an analyst on a sports network.
