Memories of Murder
Oldboy
Sympathy for Lady Vengeance

I'm hoping that was an attempt at humor.

What part? You're a Disney fan?

Not the part I was referring to.

Which part?

It's great that he is getting the recognition across the boards that is deserved. Got to meet him very briefly at the Eddie's and you could just feel the genuine excitement and appreciation he feels about this thrill ride he's on.

That's so cool. I met him briefly when he had a retrospective in Cambridge years back. My friend got to be his translator (this was like a decade ago after Mother debuted).

It's so exciting to see him break through. He really is the Spielberg in South Korea.

So Joker wins best score, which is fine. Great speech.

Oscar winners Joker and Bombshell. Not Oscar winner The Irishman.

More of a reflection of what was in the field than a knock on the film.

So many people dying off. A generation of Hollywood and international film just getting to that time in life. But John Singleton and some other folks going under the age of 70 is so painful to see.
