I can live with a loss, but that was going to be a blow out (against not a particularly good opponent) until they rode a wave and made it respectable.
The defense minus that run, is still unacceptable tbh.
Luke keeps losing me with those terrible 3rd quarters coming out of half.
Pelicans bailed out by Moore hitting that big time 3. Lakers also did pelicans a favor by not getting Cousins to foul out when they had the mojo.
On to the wizards, let’s hope they learned their lesson of showing up to start and not getting down by so much. The wizards have a weak bench so the lakers need to take advantage of that unit. |

Look at this way, our rookie with three games under his belt had a bad game and he still had more assists than any of our guards have had in years, and he should have way more if our players could shoot. |
He definitely lost us the game. If he wants to be our leader he sure better accept when a loss is on him. Getting blocked on a forced drive, giving up a three, shooting terrible bricks, slowing our offense, stopping our dribble penetration etc... |
I would definitely say the main reason we lost the game is because is because the Lakers let the Pelicans get a 20+ point lead on them and then went cold after they fought back. |
For most of that duration Clarkson wasn't at the point guard either. |
You're trying to pin the loss on Lonzo when the team as a whole was terrible and/or struggled. |
We looked pretty good down the stretch with Clarkson at point if you ask me. |

Tough loss. But all things considered, not a bad way to go down for a young squad. We missed alot of 3s down the stretch. Hart, Lonzo, Kuz, JC,.. we make one of those maybe we have a chance. But we fell behind early, dug ourselves too big a hole. |

Great loss!
I mean, that hustle and grit from the second unit.
KCP! I'll say it again, easily the best defender we had in years!
There is a scrap in this team that I haven't seen in years. Not even the Kobe and Shaq days.
Randle decided to man up and ball out! He did great when he was on the floor.
It's only been three games so far but the biggest change I see is that, off the rebound, the bigs are really looking for a guard to hand off too. It just creates continuity of the flow and spacing.
Last year you had, Randle, Ingram and Nance pushing the ball up at times. Unless everyone is on the same page at all times, that just creates confusion.
I like the way this team is figuring things out, from the coaching to the players. |

Fun game to watch at the end. Lonzo's shot was bad, so was BI's....randle looked pretty good though. I think Kuzma missing that 3 when we were up 5 was the difference between winning and losing.
I wish Luke had stayed with that group that took the lead, but Lonzo is the man...I probably would have done the same. If he hits a couple of shots, then it was a good move. |

Well as the season goes on, we see more that Luke is a fraud coach ala Dfish, Rambis, Byron, etc. |

Really can't complain. Yes, this team makes mistakes. I mean, its game 3. I do like what I am seeing though. Let's all remain calm and ride this out. I think the comeback was mighty impressive, I have to say. I am happy about the fight. Sure, I wished they could have finished out stronger but hell, for game 3, I think it was a good game. |

He did, but not during the crunch time where the Pelicans made great shots and we went cold. Law of averages caught up with us... and it's as irrational to think that Ball will always be cold, as it is that Clarkson and Randle will always be that hot. We fought hard, Kuzma continues to surprise, and I leave the game with a positive feeling at least. |

I really really liked our small ball lineups. Plus, if that kind of lineup can succeed against a team like the Pelicans (with two bigs like Cousins + Davis) I think it can succeed against most teams in the league. _________________ one dog goes that way the other dog goes the other way |

Yeah people saying that he was giving up threes. The ones that I saw were very well contested and when I saw the Pelicans make it, I told myself that you just have to live with those. Am I missing a play or something? |

So you're going to blame Lonzo for other players on our team missing open shots and Moore hitting a ridiculous well defended 3? |

People really trying to blame Zo?
The Pelicans just hit some ridiculous shots down the stretch. Most teams would have lost given the same situation. |

Regardless we lost to the pelicans who are kind of bad, so I don't see much hope for beating teams of any decent caliber. |
