KCP entered the game with 4:53 left in the 3rd and the Lakers up 9. He didn’t leave the floor again, not his fault obviously, Luke should’ve done something when he clearly saw that it wasn’t working.

This one is on Luke. KCP shouldn't be on the floor at all.....

Luke thinks it's a good idea to play guys 15+ minutes straight.

With that 12 million and the 18 he got last year he needs 3 years 50 million to recoup the 5 year 80 million dollar deal he turned down.

This is KCP’s last season as a Laker, he hasn’t lived up to the hype when we signed him and keeps destroying our momentum late in games.. let’s all remember that he also screwed up when we played the Rockets in Houston.

So suddenly this guy wants to start knocking down shots and turns in to the shooter we been looking for all season long.

Sure he's playing for his next contract. But seems like he's finally settling in without having to worry about when he's going to play again, specially with Bullock hurt. One thing for sure Walton's carousel line up changes never gave this guys a chance to get comfortable and develop any continuity.

Agreed. Worst type of player - disappears when stuff matters, shows up when it doesn't.

Was hoping he would take the next step and be our number 2 scorer this year.
Add him to the list of players who regressed this year.

I wonder if things would have been different if he had been given a steady burn from the start of the season

Pope like Mcgee is a decent player when used properly. Not sure what Luke has against them.

Saw an article some where on how many line up changes and combination Luke did in the first few months to start the season. Hard to develop any kind of rhythm with that type of changes. Specially for shooters.

Hope this is the last of the KCP experiment. His play just does not justify his price tag.

That and if Luke ran more plays for him. Seemed like he was featured a lot more in early action last season.

He has made a lot of money for being a very average player.

I am moving on if I am the Lakers unless he is ready for a drastic pay cut.

KCP should have been the starting 2 all along. Luke really messed things up with this team. KCP and Lonzo backcourt is a serviceable backcourt, especially next to Lebron. This is why I won’t shed a tear when Luke gets fired, not sure why he is so scared of Kuz lmao

Starting lineup should’ve been:

Lonzo
KCP
Ingram
Lebron
McGee

Bench:
Rondo
Hart
Lance
Kuzma
Zubac

Bron doesn't want to play power forward...he doesn't want to body up with them on d so Kuz was inserted into the starting line up

everyone wanted Bron to play PF except for Bron

That’s because Luke has no clout. Bron played pf for Erik Spoelstra fine, and he was a rookie coach. Magic and Rob never backed Luke enough to make Lebron fall in line and just play ball

This, Spoe had Riley’s full support to take his lumps along the way but empowered him to keep Bron in check. Magic NEVER did this. He isolated Luke the exact same way he did the young core. Easy to point fingers everywhere except at yourself and your king.

you guys are making a lot of assumptions based on no information. all this stuff about magic luke jeanie, 90% of the "information" is all vague and not even from the source.

this is what i remember...
lebron literally said he would play post before the season started.
he actually did play post the first couple of games.
he did awful on his shots...bad turnarounds, bad moves, everything was bad. this is when he did the behind the back pass to out of bounds lol.
so he went back to his usual bring the ball up nonsense.

this is 100% lbj doing whatever he wants. what is luke going to do? demand him to play in the post? (that's what he should do). but lebron wont agree because it makes him look awful. so then what? luke is fired?! lol. dont fire luke because lebron cant play post like he said.

Lebron wasn’t 34 when he was a Heat.

Least favorite Laker ever.

Some interesting numbers i came across.

KCP in two seasons here:
12 ppg, 4 reb, 1.7 apg, 1.1 spg, 36% 3pt

A frequent (if not the most frequent) mention of Least Favorite Laker Ever, his two seasons here:
11 ppg, 2.9, reb, 3.2 apg, 1.6 spg 36% 3pt

Can you guess who he is? BTW, he made the league minimum his two seasons here, or 1/20th of what we paid KCP.
