No more foolish decisions...keep Caruso.

This. And even if he's balling out in the dead season of March and April, the fact that he's really balling out points to him being a nice 10-12th man at worst, imo.

Remember, it’s not dead season for the Clips tonight. They haven’t clinched a playoff spot yet. So they’re playing hard.

EDIT: my error, the Clippers have clinched a spot. But their exact slot is in doubt. They could avoid the Warriors in round 1 if they win out. So this game had value for them.

Great job Caruso! I’ve been cheering for him since last last year’s summer league team. Saw him play in Vegas when we won the summer league championship. He’s had some swag on the court since then! Yeah I’d like to keep him. Pay that man his money.

Great point. This wasn't against a tanking Suns or Bulls team.

It's time we start investing in our guys longterm. Caruso would be a good start.

The great thing is watching a guy who obviously always had game break through and play like he belongs. Sometimes solidly talented dudes like Ryan Kelly or Anthony Brown just can't get over that hurdle to become consistent, confident NBA performers. But I think Caruso figured out he can legit ball in this league for many years to come over the past couple months.

I’m laughing at all the people earlier this season who said we should bring him back as our third point guard. The dude is playing for a starting job, not to be the Lakers third point guard. He’ll get paid somewhere. Third point guard my ass. He looks like some chump at the Y, you think he doesn’t have a chip on his shoulders?

Although keeping Caruso is a must, I also think we should keep Rondo (unless we sign Irving or Walker). He'd give us a great backup PG, a nice mentor for Caruso and Ball, and in the playoffs he'll be really valuable with his championship experience.

Just remember how he stabilized our team on Christmas Day after Lebron went out and our lead was trimmed to a few points, but then we won by 26.

I will paraphrase all my Caruso posts from tonight right here:

Caruso is the real reason why Magic traded DLO.

I’m laughing at all the people who said, “Bring back Caruso as our third point guard.” The dude is trying to make a name for himself and get paid. He not here just to settle for third on an NBA team. Is you crazy? A man who looks like he plays Rec league at the Y? A dude he’s probably been passed up because he looks like a damn accountant? He probably has a chip on his shoulders the size of Montana.

God Bless Alex Caruso. He was sent by Baby Jesus to beat the SAD Clippers. The Clippers are nothing but FAKE NEWS. MLGA!
