You’re being a little ridiculous here. The other 29 teams aren’t some monolithic unit. They’re individual teams who will do what’s in their own best interests. If they can get a couple of second round picks and cash to cover the salaries of Bonga/Jones/Wags at least one team will be happy to do so. |

If Kawhi Leonard is the end result, it's worth giving up Kuzma. With Lebron, AD, and Kawhi there won't be enough shots for everyone as it. We've seen from previous Big 3's in the past especially involving Lebron that one of the 3 likely will need to take a big backseat or contribute to the game in more unconventional ways. Kuzma is pretty one dimensional at this point. His defense and rebounding need work and we don't need him to be a big time scorer if we land Kawhi.
At that point, sending him out to make it possible to get Kawhi back is fine by me. I would value a future 1st round more than Kuzma because we've already given up a lot of our first rounders and another one would be too far in the future.
People have to remember that averages and production are not simply additive.
The only player I feel is truly worth the max isKawhi Leonard even at 80 percent and load managed for the whole year. He's that good.
Everyone else are "inflated" and I would pass to try to find more value as hard as that may be at the mid=tier region.
The problem is that due to cap space ALL these players are over-valued.
Really, the ideal scenario would be to get the one true max on the market KL, and then fill with vet minimums and our MLE. This would be the ideal situation in terms of value. But it's looking increasingly like a long shot. |

Yestrday NBA radio was talkimg about the potential Beal trade and they said that could work in the Lakers favor because Washington would want to see the medicals but NO cant show them because hes the Lakers player still so to get a dealmdone before the 4th pick they would be inclined to help the lakers with the cap date. Lets hope the wiz want to do a deal.

Kuz being around LBJ and AD on the floor, I wouldn’t be shocked if he averaged 20. But if we add Kawhi Kyrie or Jimmy B his focus should be on D ( as imo it should be anyway) and it’s good he is talking to Metta.
