I've actually seen a good amount of cutting from Kuz.

Kuz’s offense has been getting on track. He has been uninspiring on defense. At some point, he’s going to have to take a stand on that end.

He seems athletic enough and has good size

Genuinely curious - who’s the last Laker to hit 3 threes for 5 consecutive games like Kuzma’s done this year?

I don't see Kuzma as a defender, or I should say I haven't seen anything from him yet that leads me to believe he's solid on that side of the ball.
Brandon Ingram was a far better defender than Kuzma, which was the one thing I frowned upon from the trade standpoint...

He'll pull it together, because he's already proven to get better every off-season. The injury slowed him to start, but it looks as though he's beginning to ramp up and will have a solid year!

His 3s are certainly picking up. It was clear he had a lot of rust.

Defensively still disappointing, but if he can continue shooting like he has been, will be a really nice punch off the bench.

It looks like Kuz is really starting to come around. In his last 5 games (including tonight), he's averaging:

- 18 pts and 5 boards
- Shooting 50% from the field, 46.9% on 3s, and 91.7% on FTs
- Also has a 65.0 TS% overall

You love to see it!

All he has to do is maintain that pace and we’re gravy

Yeah. I'll take that. Even if he's not closing games b/c of poor defense, having that bridge scorer like him is important.

He's up to about what he was shooting in college. Hope he can keep that % climbing and doesn't hit a dry spell now.

And last week, some fans wanted to trade him for a player who doesn't even after more than 5 points per game.

Kyle Kuzma last five games from three:

3-for-7
3-for-6
3-for-6
3-for-7
3-for-6

- 47% from three during that stretch.
- 13% in the first four games.

Yep. I'll repeat in case someone missed it who is part of the 'he can't shoot and last year was the best you can hope fo/I wanna be right' crowd.

He started shooting 3's at 3-23....13% (including multiple ?5? halfcourt heaves that most guys won't even attempt because they're worried about being judged harshly the way he has been as a result)...and since then he's 15-33...45%. His 32% has been on the rise and he's already above his so-called ceiling of 30% last year.

Where it stops, no one knows, but I'm going to enjoy listening to the crickets over you who said he's Clarkson, trash, 2nd rd trade bait, and much more.

Oh but he reached his ceiling only 4 games into this season. Anything after that is impossible because he can never improve his shooting.

Kuzma is not go8ng to be satisfied being an average player. He wants to 8 prove, to strive to mesh with this great squad, and become a great addition.

Personally, I think some of the other young players we have had, either couldn’t hack the pressure, or didn’t want to co-mingle with an established star. Some of them wanted their millions, their juice box after the game, and as long as they got their shots, they really didn’t care about winning.

Who on earth are you talking about? Please name these players.

If we charter a bus, we may be able to fit a portion of the many people who could regain some respect in the current 'I was wrong' thread.

Some fans hated on Lebron too, as absurd and amazing as that is!

I wouldn't use the past tense on that.
