Kuzma, the former University of Utah basketball player who now plays for the Los Angeles Lakers, was a guest on the ESPYS Red Carpet Show and answered a flurry of questions in 24 seconds. It gave a quick peek into his personality and self-confidence.
Kuzma strikes me as the kind of player who isn’t ready to settle yet, he wants to be great and puts in the work. But with the depth we now have, I wonder how many minutes he will actually get to play?
Kuz has gotten a lot of opportunities over the past two years because of lack of competition. I don't think it's a bad thing if he has to work harder to earn minutes.
He has the physical tools to be an average level defender. We don't need him to be a one sided scorer either.
As a small forward or power forward ?
good question. he's def got some tools though, length namely. and solid quickness, bad technique though ---- if we're talking about defending the perimeter.
Yea, other than the height he is more like a SF than PF to me. He might be able to use his length to be an above average perimeter defender. But I seriously doubt he can even be an average defender as a PF who also needs to help defending the paint.
Dianna Russini (white dress) used to be an NFL reporter for the Redskins. The wife of the GM at the time accused her of trading BJ’s for scoops from her husband. Whether true or not, espn hired her soon after.
lol, ESPN: she did what! get her here NOW (BJ is Brazilian Jiujitsu right?)

I believe Kuz loves playing for the Lakers and living in Los Angeles. He seems to appreciate that he is the last guy standing in regards to our kids. I have a feeling he is going to shine this season and show that the FO did right by keeping him.

eh. idk if it'll work out for him but it's much different. he used to bring the ball back to his face, now there's almost no backwards motion. It's a really high pocket, kinda similar to Aldridge ------ hard to shoot well from range when it's that high imo. From another vid it was lower from deeper, which is common. This reminds me of Aldridge or Kawhi.
pessimistically i could say:::: this shot is like, lets take all the naturalness out of a shooting form. and rhythm and range of motion..
optimistically I could say: it's a simplified form. high release. looks to be synced well with his jump.

Same feeling. Also feel the same way about BI and Zo and Hart. So glad that we were able to keep Kuz because not only he’s a great fit with Lebron, we also have a player that hopefully that can emerge and break out and makes it easy for AD to stay.
He's gonna need better D and three to be able to close games. With AD at 5 and LeBron at 4, give Vogel a reason to keep D.Green at the 2 instead of the 3.

Welp there goes my optimism. Thanks for the insight as always.

Can I ask for your credentials when it comes to shooting mechanics? Thanks.
One thing about @kylekuzma he’s never satisfied. Early mornings and late nights are starting to pay off. Changing 8 major key components to his jumper. Balance, higher release etc. Re-versing old muscle memory isn’t easy but with his dedication we will get there. #NBA #Lakers

The Lakers will acquiesce to whatever AD wants, and it's no coincidence we signed two good centers for this year. AD doesn't want to play the 5, he said it again while sitting right next to Vogel, and he'll be a free agent next year. So AD at the 4, Lebron at the 3, and Kuz 6th man
