Commentators in this game heavy East coast bias talkin about Kuz shot attempts even though he’s 56%. I hate the current anti Lakers vibe from the nba. Kuz better win MVP
to be fair, his last 10-12 points came from uncontested layups....he was shooting well below 50% for most of the 2nd half until he began the layups trying to accumulate points
He had 23 at HT 10/14 Fg. He was the clear MVP harping on his shot attempts when it wasn’t an issue is just unnecessary negativity.

Well to be fair the one guy on the call who wasn’t a former player I don’t know that his name… He was a self proclaimed Philly homer. At one point he called them the greatest team in the history of basketball and started listing off all the players so he was hardly impartial and wasn’t trying to be LOL

ok, but he was very cold in the 2nd half, and he was chucking and missing so his % nose dived....then over the last 5 minutes he began to take uncontested layups to accumulate points. There was a couple guys that probably feel they had a case....Young clearly had a strong case with 25/10/7....and he was shooting a very good % until the last few minutes when he was shooting half court shots for the fans. I think it was pretty clear Kuzma was the only one over the last few minutes of the game that was thirsty for the MVP....the other guys were just having fun.

imagine gutting our entire team and AD got that injury here lmao.. Even with Lebron we could very well be the worst team in the NBA with the only way to win is him playing the entire game which would probably result in him getting injured at some point as well.
Congrats to Kuz tho! Awesome to see him win the MVP, nice for even the smallest amount of positivity regarding the Lakers lately.
