Of course it was. There wasn't any chance in hell of him or anyone else being able to trademark "Taco Tuesday."

Media Day is two weeks away. So I guess the players should be heading to Vegas next week for Lebron's mini camp.

It’s probably the truth or at worst, a very good spin by the spokesperson

Just a little bit more and the season starts. I know Lebron shall be on a man with a mission

So you are proposing he was not “a man with a mission” last year? Why?

Last year's mission was to lose.

Really? where did you get that from?

I don't remember that message in the press conferences and interviews.

So you are suggesting an iconic GOAT candidate joins an iconic franchise while accepting a max contract and the mantle of leadership after a decade of playoff appearances... with the intention of losing?

Even as critical as I am of James' overall efforts and leadership last year, I do not think he "planned to lose".

Don't be naive.

Press conference and interviews, as if...

We had to gift Nola a high draft pick for them to consider an AD deal.

Making the playoffs was not ideal in Bron's mind.

He wanted AD.

Guess I'm naive then. I was under the impression that the Lakers couldn't waste a single year of what was left of his limited career. I have heard that quite often to support panic driven decisions concerning trades or player acquisitions since we signed him.

I would only hope a player of James' stature (or any professional player) would have more pride in his craft then to tank a season as you are proposing.

Then again, I watched him give a less then stellar effort for the Lakers last year. So maybe you are on to something.

But don't mind me. Apparently I am considered "a hater" because I do not bow down to the alter of James, Howard and all things Laker to some poster's liking.

LeBron signed here knowing that the Lakers were not a Championship team and that everyone would be replaced including Luke.

win-now at all costs. For Iggy or Bruno, or any player like that who could be a rotation piece - in that wing defender role

by most draft sites and draftniks he was a late teens level talent. guard skills in a really impressive frame, some defensive instincts too. one of the most positionless players in the draft probly. 36% on catch-shoot 3s. I like him

if teams valued THT that much they would have bought a 2nd rounder for him before the Lakers got him

only way we can trade THT for value is by him first showing out in preseason.
But I'd rather just keep him. I think people are thinking too hard on wing depth when Lebron is going to be playing like 34mpg in that position along with Green able to shift over and pick up minutes too

Because of how unbalanced the roster has been created, THT will probably be on PG, Kawhi, Giannis , Jimmy in clutch situations in the regular season ...

A lot of guys would have to be seriously injured for that to happen. And even then, it would be crazy to let him guard those guys.

I think Caruso will be our best Pg next to LBj. He is also 6"5 so we could switch everything.

PG.Caruso / Cook / Rondo
SG.Green / Bradley / Novak
SF.LeBron / KCP / Dudley
PF.Davis / Kuzma
C.Dwight / Mcgee

Who's Novak?

It would be nice if Caruso secured a spot in the PG rotation but I wouldn't bet on it. Think our main rotation is going to end up being Bradley/Cook at PG and Green/KCP at SG.
