Kwase, rolling in his inner city grave waiting on Lebron to show up

You mean how LBJ was waiting for AD after his interview? They’re fine.

I'm thinking more about how pissed AD looked at the end and then how he sounded during his postgame interview.

I'm a little worried about that to be honest. AD got denied the ball in the 4th and he might be pissed that its FMVP related.

I know. I was joking. I take him at his words that he was kissed about how we played in the 4th quarter.

Lebron and Davis were just made about the team's defensive effort in the 2nd half.

That goes against about what they been saying about jealousy and not a goid look for AD... But some hater reporter will prob run that story.

I'm with you, but at the end of the day they are both human, and they both want that MVP. I'm rooting for a Co-MVP of some kind.

I was a bit worried about AD not getting as nearly as many opportunities so I went to the box score:

Game 1 AD 21 shots, LBJ 17
Game 2 AD 20 shots, LBJ 25

All up AD 41 shots, LBJ 42

I don't think there should be a problem. And the only reason at all LBJ has more shots is because the defense keeps sagging off him on the 3 point line (8 3 point shots this game from LBJ) so he just takes them.

Loved his post game interview where he said he's very coachable.
Lol. That's gotta be a shot at Kyrie saying it's coaching by committee in Brooklyn right? Hahaha.

LeBron James had a special game: 33 points, 9 assists, ZERO turnovers. The last & only player in NBA Finals history to have at least 20 points & 9 assists with zero turnovers is Magic Johnson (1987, Game 1–29 points, 13 assists, 0 turnovers). Don't take LeBron James for granted.

Kidd and Grant Hill got CO-ROTY's back in the day so it's not unprecedented. The way they're both playing...it's REAL hard to pick one or the other.

So if the Lakers seal the deal... in hindsight, was Lebron's injury a blessing in disguise? We were 4th in the West when Bron went down, right? Lets say he didn't go down and he had a healthy 2019 season. Lets say we finish top 4 in the West with that young core. Lets say we went to second round and lost. Does Maginka take their foot off the "Trade for AD" gas pedal? I think that happens all the time to developing teams. You get some false positives and you decide to stick with it until it's too late. But I think it wouldn't have mattered. I think AD talks happened the day Bron signed.

It was not just Lebron's injury... Lonzo/Rondo/Ingram all missed significant amount of time also. We also lucked out landing in the top 3 pick.
