"It's not so much deferring, because in past situations where I didn't take the last shot I felt guilty. I want this game-winning shot, but also you want to trust your teammates. Not that I didn't trust my teammates, but I felt like I was the best option."

He's copping hell about that lol.

From the Laker subreddit:

So here are the CLUTCH TIME numbers of the 3 years LeBron and Kyrie were together, playoff games, 4th quarter, game within 5 points

LeBron: 58-136 (eFG 46.7%)

Kyrie: 28-78 (eFG 41.7%)

Those were just the PLAYOFF numbers. Here are their CLUTCH TIME numbers in the finals. (Keep in mind, Kyrie was injured in 2015.)

LeBron: 8-19 (eFG 47.4%)

Kyrie: 4-16 (eFG 28.1%)

Jesus, are there a more tone deaf pair of players in the NBA than Kyrie and KD?

I refuse to believe they can win as the leaders of a team.

Imo too many are crowning the Nets as the EC champion in 2021 and beyond. Those 2 are just too sensitive.

Nice comment by Kerr, but no. Lebron from 2009-2013 was another animal.

Having Durant will prevent him from doing what he did to the Celtics.

You kidding? Dude has it made. He’ll get fired in a year or 2 and get paid for 4.

Doesn’t seem possible, but here we are. LeBron James is underrated.

Imagine Laker Lebron's mind + Miami Lebron's body.

After I read the quotes about how are they are "collaborating" and him or KD could essentially be coaches, I figured this was going to be a show next year. Get your popcorn ready for the 2021 Nets.

So good to read about another team's drama and not ours.

My GOAT List as to who I would want if I had to win a playoff series with all players at their peaks:

1. Shaq Diesel
2. Jordan
3, Lebron
4. Wilt
5. Kareem
6. Magic
7. King Kobe
8. Bird
9. Durantula
10. The Dream

Pretty standard, except that I would choose other players, such as Steph or TD over Durant. Also, as much as I love Shaq, he is in no way better than prime Wilt. Even an old Wilt had a prime shaq all shook up with his giant mitts.

He always said he is a student of the game. This man is clearly not done yet.

They're losers who just want attention, especially Durant. He's been playing second fiddle to Lebron all his NBA career. Kyrie got carried by Lebron for his lone championship so did the Durant with the Warriors. They both share the same resentment/jealousy toward Lebron. Now they don't even have real HC. If assistant coach Walton was bad, assistant coach Nash is gonna make him look like a hall of fame coach. Can't wait to see the Nets fail in the D League conference. Yep, even the D League is challenging for the Nets.

I wonder if you even get Laker Lebron's mind without Laker Lebron's physical limitations (which feels hilarious to mention even as I type it). Maybe he has gone to another level with his BBIQ to offset whatever small physical loss he's had.

Just another day at the office.

39 minutes, 33 points, 9 assists, 9 rebounds, 1 steal, 1 block.
