That 4th quarter performance was one for the ages. Amazing basketball. Just took control of the game.

To go from shooting under 30% on jumpers this series to knocking down every jumper he took in the 4th was eerie. I haven't seen that since prime Kobe.

It's crazy how much he's bought in on defense after he looked like he was cooked on that end of the floor in Cleveland.

Kinda reminded me of the game he had against the Pistons in the playoffs.

Was probably telling him we'll have a spot open for him once we get rid of Kuz.

#23 belongs to Anthony Davis and will go up also....the King is getting #6 retired if he wins a couple of rings.

Think one title will be enough for his jersey to be retired.

Those double screens by Dwight and Green were awesome.
Not sure why we didn't run that more when Denver tried not to switch.

Saved it for when it really mattered so they couldn't counter it.

Shows that we have a couple of tricks up our sleeves yet.

Question: If we win the title this year and it is the only one with James on the team, does his name and number go into the rafters?

From reddit: On the left is a picture of Lebron after Game 7 of the ECFs in 2018 where he played 48 minutes (46 in game 6), and on the right is the picture of Lebron yesterday.

No wonder he's happy

Well, if we lose in the finals, let's all remember that we would have had a more successful season if we had lost to Portland in the first round, because then our "finals record" wouldn't have been impacted.

I didn't realize Lebron played the whole 4th quarter.

Without any hesitation or doubt.

This championship deserves an asterisk.

*The 2020 championship is worth 2 rings if won by a non-Laker team and worth 5 rings if the Lakers manage to pull off a ring with a 1st year HC, 1st year superstar after a trade, 1st year GM who got thrown under a freeway of buses, 1st year pandemic work stoppage, 1st year loss of a Titan and his beautiful daughter, 1st year playoffs on a completely neutral site, 1st year of being placed in a bubble for 4 straight months, 1st year of isolated from family, friends, and fans, 1st year of sleeping in a hotel room for 4+ Months...

We finish this off for Kobe & Mambacita and LBJ is the greatest in my book...this has to be the most impossible circumstances to deliver in and he's responding with historic triple doubles in close out games.

Takes nothing away from Cap, MJ, Magic, Kobe, Russell...let's be real...none of them did what LBJ is on the verge of accomplishing.

GS doesn't luck into KD and he's likely 4-5 with a chance to even is ledger.

I've watch Laker Basketball since 1979...never seen anyone do what this brother is doing in his 17th season...never seen anyone do what he is doing regardless of their age.

Only thing that comes close is Magic as a Rookie with 42, 15, 7 on the road playing all 5 positions to win it all...and all you have to do is say COVID or Kobe 2020 and LBJ automatically trumps that imo.

I am a witness.

Yep, he came to us at our lowest when no one else would.

I think he’s already punched his ticket to the rafters before the Finals begin.
