Nah he’s attending, he will be the one person standing out with a half Clippers / half pelicans flag maybe standing next to clipper Darrell who will be there for the attention.

I hear what you're saying, but I'm hoping it was the groin that prevented him from fulfilling that "playoff mode" promise last year and that he can elevate his game this year.

Playoff Lebron is more aggressive. Regular season Lebron doesn't want to get hurt and tank the season.

4/10 from 3 means I still think we're seeing regular season Lebron imo.

That fadeaway from Lebron was money, but he had 6 fadeaways in the 4th quarter of game 2 Toronto

Playoff Lebron won’t get to face teams like the Pacers/Hawks/Derozan Raptors anymore.

What the (bleep) is playoff Bron anyway? Hope we don’t see LoseinTheFinalsBron.

Are you hoping he fails, and thus the Lakers fail?

You got me.

I said on Twitter that the Clippers keep adding new players to be unbeaten with a full roster.

Well his "LoseinTheFinalsBron" tells you what he's talking about. You mean the 34/9/9 LBJ that lost to prime KD/Steph/Klay/Dray with Iggy off the bench? I think a lot of great teams lose to that. I'll happily take that "LoseinTheFinalsBron" against the current NBA field in the playoffs.

If LeBron can lead the Lakers to a championship I will crown him the GOAT. I don't say this lightly because I still have Jordan and Kareem ahead of him. In addition to all of his impressive individual stats and awards he would have led three franchises to a championship as the best player. That has never been done before and would be an incredible accomplishment.

My GOAT is and always will be Kobe, which I explained in a thread I recently posted. Mainly due to the adversity he had to overcome on route to his championship victories. Plus the work ethic being unmatched. However if I'm being honest with myself, nobody tops Michael Jeffrey Jordan.

Even if James won the title this year, there's no way I can objectively rank him above MJ. James will have accomplished a lot, but even if he won this season, his finals record would be 4-7.

Jordan 13 seasons with the Chicago Bulls

Rookie Of The Year
5 x MVP
10 x All-NBA 1st Team
10 x Scoring Champ
9 x All-Defense 1st Team
1 x DPOY
6-0 NBA Finals

Jordan in 2001-02 (52-game sample)

36.8 MPG
24.6 PPG
6.0 RPG
5.4 APG
1.5 SPG
0.5 BPG

I'm not even taking into account MJ's pre championship seasons, where he averaged 30+ points, 8 rebounds, 8 assists, while shooting 50% from the field, playing all world defense, and shooting less then 0.5 three pointers per game.

Barely had a personal relationship with? Are you kidding me? :-?

Those two were apparently MUCH closer than we knew. Even MJ and a host of others have all publicly come out about how much closer they were with Kobe than was known at the time.

They were building a relationship, they were friendly but not friends.

LeBron, Kobe had grown closer in recent months http://a.msn.com/02/en-us/BBZsgGu?ocid=st2

I think Kobe was trying to form a bond with LeBron to pass on some of his knowledge his way. Maybe form a closer brotherhood between them. After all, he is a Laker, and that's family. I think LeBron knows that, which is why this has been so hard for him. They were just starting to form what seemed like a great relationship. It sucks we weren't able to witness them hanging out with each other and things of that nature. They're both in the same town. LeBron came here knowing Kobe IS the Lakers. That's respect man. Sucks, truly.

Imaging being Lebron James right now. Having to be the face of the Lakers and answering questions about Kobe that probably 1000 people are better qualified to answer. It’s very unfair for Lebron to keep being asked the same things about Kobe over and over again. Rob knows Kobe better than anyone, but he can hide from the media. Lebron can’t. Beside Instagram, Jeanie doesn’t have to say a word until she’s ready. Why should Lebron have to say anything Kobe related? He has things in his life that has to get done as well. Family, friends, businesses, training, conditioning, practices, being a team leader, playing basketball, being the face of the Lakers, cementing his legacy, and brining a champion to LA.

If Lebron was there cool. If he wasn’t there cool. All his best friends were there. If Lebron couldn’t find comfort in RP, Wade, Davis, etc... Then we know Kobe’s death is effecting him more than you or I could ever understand.

Lebron has spent decades being asked questions that other people are more qualified to answer. That's just the nature of being a celebrity who is required to speak to the press on a regular basis. I doubt it bothers Lebron; he knows the game and how to play it.

Nah. He'll be standing on the corner lecturing everyone that he didn't come to the parade and just happened to walk by and is irritated how it's affecting traffic.

Then he will log onto LG and post about it, dividing his thoughts into 150 one-sentence posts to maximize his post count.
