Steph Curry continues to be underrated

Steph's up there, but perhaps you have him rated higher than I do. Do you think he's better than KD, Kawhi, or Giannis?

I would have Steph right after those players. Top 6.

Steph's been the best player in the league to for quite some time imo It's his gravity. Guys like Kawhi, Giannis, KD and LeBron are definitely more talented but Steph is a cheat code.

I would tend to agree with VLF's ranking of Steph more than lonzobryant's, then. He's great, but I don't think he's ever been the best player in the league.

He clearly was in his back to back MVP seasons imo

Bron was still #1 during those seasons imo. All good. We'll agree to disagree.

FYI, Lebron turns 35 in December.....

No shame not being the best player or top 5 when your that old...

You could argue between the 4 forwards (KD, PG13, Leonard, Giannias)

Than you have your combo guards (Dame, Harden, Steph and Irving)

Lastly, your Bigs(Jokic, Embiid, and AD)

People forget how good LeBron is because he’s not in the playoffs. Next year the discussion will go back to being Durant vs LeBron for best player.

That is extremely doubtful. It will probably be the same as now, Giannis, Kawhi or KD. I mentioned it in another thread where someone said that Iggy is getting too old, he is the same age that Lebron will be next season.

Time is not on Lebrons side...but IF we actually put competent shooters around him (and hopefully we make it happen this off-season somehow) you guys will see how easily he can carve up defenses.

The front office did everything possible to make life hard for Lebron on offense this year and he still put up an efficient 27/8/7 in lowest minutes per game in his career.

His last year on the Cavs I think his only teammate that shot 40% from 3 throughout the whole year was Korver. JR Smith was bad for his standards (~33% I think) George Hills spot up shooting he declined from what it used to be, Rodney Hood while a serviceable mid-range shooter he isn’t a good 3 point shooter, Clarkson...lol. Love is good for a big (41% in regular season but really drops off hard in the playoffs...only 34%) but he made life for Lebron easier to get into the paint...which is what Brook Lopez would have done this year for Lebron as he shot 37% from 3 smh

If we can get good spacing around him...IMO he’s still better at driving in and finding the open man than Harden or Giannis

Iguodala and LeBron are two different athletes and are nothing alike. LeBron pre-injury was never excluded from the best player discussion. If he was in the playoffs right now, much like every year prior that he’s been in the playoffs , he would be doing what he’s always done which is continue to make sure people know that he’s the best in the world.

Way to go, Bron!

Until Kawhi can make his teammates better and Giannis learns to shoot a jumpshot, I will take Lebron.

As much as I like Lebron I wish we could trade him for the 1st overall pick. Everybody happy, he gets to compete for a chip, NO gets Lebron, and they get to play together like they want.

I get it but he will still be 35 this year. You are crazy for taking Lebron over those players in their primes.

Agreed. He's the only chance we really have. The jury is still out on Pelinka, the FO and what Vogel and Kidd can do.

I must have missed it, who did Lebron make better?

But Lebron was injured and wasn’t in the playoffs. So no playing the “if” game. Age doesn’t make one more injury prone, it means more recovery time from even minor injuries. Lebron is not the best in the world.

I've got to agree with VLF... that's a big if... he's not in the playoffs... and he'll be a year older next season.

If the queen had balls, she'd be king. Father Time catches up with everyone.

It might be the only way to get Lebron & AD together.

Lebron + 4th pick for their 1st pick + fillers?

Pelicans gets to keep AD while adding a significant chance to win now.

Lakers get to continue their rebuild with potentially a mega-star with a huge draw - plenty of cap space flexibility and maybe Kwahi comes as the main man to help us moving forward.

Of course I would not do this unless Lebron would be sold on the idea, don't need anymore bad press.

Lebron is being vastly underrated by a number of folks on this board.....in addition to injury he needed to do more with far less than most of the other folks have been mentioning...Giannis....maybe had a similar level of talent...and that's a maybe, everyone else was playing with an all star or multiple all stars....I still have LeBron top 5...and I don't see that changing next year assuming health

#4 and LeBron for #1 pick forget that
